16. Scott Geddes
17. Shane Rigon

Glen Hall is young, and I think starting him may give him the confidence he needs to become the player he was promising to become when at the Bulldogs.
Minichello makes alot of handling errors, but I think it's because he's trying too hard to impress to get in the starting line up. As with Hall, I think it might help him by being a permanent fixture....

Generalissimo, this is your team?
Roosters

1- Roberts
2- Minichiello
3- Cross
4- Isiola
5- Moke
6- Wing
7- Finch

It's pretty obvious that you're just trying to be a smart arse, or that you've just got no idea. Joel Monaghan scored 21 tries in 2003, and is still one of the best in the game under the high ball. when Brett Finch was at Canberra his preferred position was 5/8, he just never got to play there because we needed a halfback, and he was doing the job pretty well. and all these people who are thinking Roberts would be better at fullback: get a grip. both Minichiello and Roberts had a stellar 2004 as fullback and winger respectively, Minichiello in State of Origin too, not just first grade, so why on earth would you switch them?! and what happened to Anthony Tupou, did he break his leg or something??

the Warriors are going to have an awesome team on paper next year. if Tony Kemp can't get results with that line-up, he never will. but i'd get rid of Toopi, he seems to be the NZ version of Hodges.

Scott Geddes will be a starter for sure. He is the best prop in the club.

2005 tigs...year of almost making it, part 2! choke harder!!

1 - Benji Marshall (similar to billy slater, only looking less like the guy from secret life of us)

2 - Daniel Fitzhenry (land crab on the wing, just need to train him to run straight)

3 - Shane Elford (good solid 2004, but if he goes missing he an interchange with Wilson)

4 - Paul Whatuira (havn't seen much of him play, but getting a start on a kiwi team must be a good thing)

5 - Pat Richards (the big tall git who can't tackle, can run and catch which is what winger are all about)

6 - Brett Hodgson (VC) (extra kicking option and will allow him to get more involved in general play)

7 - Scott Prince ( hot and cold 2004, but potential)

8 - Bryce Gibbs (is he avilable to play after suspension?) ( i love this kid)

9 - Liam Fulton (solid performances in his 1st grade games this year)

10 - John Skandalis (skando!)

11 - Bronson Harrison (the kiwi Bryce Gibbs, he just hates the broncos less)

12 - Anthony Laffranchi (underrated forward)

13 - Ben Galea (C) (backdoor benny will carve 'em up)

14 - Todd Payten
15 - Mark Meredith
16 - Dene Halatau
17 - John Wilson

14: Luke Ricketson
15: Chris Flannery
16: Stuart Webb

It'll probably be completely different but still, at least it's not full of Premier Leaguers. Also, I've never been a big fan of Ricketson as a player so I wouldn't have him starting.

I think I'll wait to see which 5 Saints players get season-ending injuries in the pre-season before naming a Round One team...

Hall is a good player, he would be on my bench. Can cover back row and Wing/Centre.

Why are some Eagles fans not putting Heckenburg in their team.
He was one of their best towards the end of the season. I think he should start and King on bench actually.

Melbourne Storm 2005 Round 1
1 B Slater - Could shift back to the centres with the departure of MacDougall but I think he's better at fullback.
2 M Geyer - Possibility of dropping out of side if doesn't improve form.
3 S Bell - Underrated centre who wouldn't look out of place in a Maroon jumper.
4 M King - Could play either here or the wing depending on where Turner and Slater play.
5 S Turner - Again he might be here or at fullback.
6 S Hill - I think he's a five-eighth, I would've put him at lock but after this year's form, now way!
7 M Orford - If he keeps his great form could lead the Storm to a 1999 repeat.
8 R Kearns - Sort of like Geyer but he actually has been in form.
9 C Smith - Solid and will again play for Qld.
10 A Chan - If Howe had've stayed he would've been on the bench but he's very powerful.
11 D Kidwell - See Orford that's how much form he's been in but that doesn't mean 2005 will be the same.
12 D Scott - Hoffman, Feeney or Robinson could go here but I've put Scott in the no.12.
13 D Johnson - Again very solid and is a tackling machine.
Interchange
14 R Hoffman - We could see him in the no.12 in 05.
15 P Robinson - COULD force his way back into the starting side but I doubt it.
16 J Feeney - Hot and cold player can go as high as the no.12 or 13 or as low as the no.25 or 26.
17 C Cronk - Need a versatile player who can play in the backs and forwards on the bench, great young talent.
Res.
18 F Moimoi - See Feeney.
19 I Donnelly - Risk player sort of the same as Feeney and Moimoi except I can't see him in the no.12 in 05.
20 G Turner - He's fairly consistent but the problem is, he's an average player.
21 J Webster - We could see him in the starting side if he gets to the form of early in 04, doubt it though.
22 A Kaufusi - Showed promise late in 04 in the finals series but another one who is very hot and cold.
23 G Inglis - Only 17 (I think???) and some say he's the next Peachey but I've put him down this low beacuse of his age.
24 D Williams - Don't know weather Storm will re-sign him and the king hit has majorly stuffed his career up.
25 N Friend - Will only play when Smith is on Origin duty and/or is injured/suspended.
26 R Tanielu - Has great potential just hasn't shown it yet another risk if the Storm were to play him.

Well, that's what I think the Storm's line-up will be in 05.
