Where has it been mentioned that Sims is getting dropped? I think a few people have misunderstand Joker's post.

Sorry, my bad!!..... I thought joker ment Korbin would be mad he was dropped..... Didn't realise it was reference to another post

Gids at halfback means we at least get someone who will demand the ball. He provide some strong running and maybe a decent repeat set or two. Tyrone only has himself to blame. Instead of pretending he is a playmaker Gids should keep it simple and just play like he does at fullback but in the line more. Run it son. Run it hard. We all know he tries his heart out but he needs to temper that with not forcing the pass or kick.

As long as he runs straight and not across field, he could come good. The problem is he tries to emulate Benji, running across the face of the defence, and just stunts our momentum...

Back in his 2008 heyday, he'd always be running straight and just looking for support. If he can just do that again, he should aright.

Korbin looked fired up big time when he was asked about the cowboys targeting them. Basically said 'bring them on' and had an evil killer smile on his face

Sione is going to be a great centre/winger in the future, but he's no fullback. From what I've seen of the two playing fullback, Mamo offers a lot more on the back. Just shuffling the same squad around, is not dropping the axe and making proactive changes. Siones average games at fullback with no line breaks or assists clearly aren't also bring taken into account when evaluating changes to have the team playing better.

Daily telegraph reporting that gidley is being moved to the halves...... Sione to fullback and Roberts is being dropped

I'd be fine with that. Not that I think Gidley will be much (if any) better than Roberts but obviously we need to change something. Roberts has just been a mess this year. I'd probably still play him from the bench though. With all respect to Randall we need some spark around dummy half at some stage of the game and I think Roberts can offer that more than him.

I think gids at the moment will be better than Tyrone if he just does a bit of the organising, doesn't crab and doesn't kick

Tapine looks decent but nothing special so far. At least Houston makes a billion tackles a game. I don't have a problem with Houston as long as he is not getting the ball in the attacking twenty. We need someone who runs harder onto the ball on attacking sets.

Yet has the highest number of missed tackles of all of our Forwards

Houston should be the 1st dropped out of any of them

That's the thing with Houston. You might be able to forgive his total impotence and lack of leg drive in attack if he didn't miss so many tackles. On top of that he gives away a heap of penalties so really he's the shit player trifecta. I simply can't work out why he keeps getting selected in FG by coach after coach.

Yeah, let's not give a clearly talented kid the game time because he hasn't burst onto the scene in spectacular fashion and instead continue to pick a proven dud who's had far too many chances to "prove his place". For every good two or three tackles he makes there's always a miss and more often than not it's costly.

Tapine is going to improve the more time we give him. Improving in NSW Cup is one thing, improving in the NRL is another. If they were equal or true then Pat Vaivai would be a test international but we all know that's not the case.

I'm all for giving youth a chance. I just don't see Tapine offering all that much more than Houston at the moment. When Rochow and Beau are fit, I'd want Houston nowhere near first grade.

On a different note, how good was Kevin Naqaima last night? Also those West Tiger's halves are like 20 and 19 years old right? They looked much better than Gidley, Mullen and Roberts combined...
