I keep hearing things about Lamb and Cogger? Last time I heard of them they were carving up Harold Matts and SG Ball.

They look very good but not ready for FG. One is still 17 and ineligible. The other just turned 18 but is tiny.

A ball runner is not what our FG team needs though. An organiser with a cool head and a half decent kicking game is whats required imo
Agreed, but Lamb is the only player at the club who fits that type of player and it would probably be too early to throw him in now. I still wouldn't mind giving Randell or Feeney a crack just to see if they offer something a bit different.

Lamb I think will be ready this time next year, Cogger in about 18 months I think. Would love a decent organising half, doesn't have to be a superstar, in fact I'd love to have someone like Luke Walsh back

Maybe but Id be weary of swapping out one sub par halfback for another

I think the more likely scenario we'll see on Saturday will be Sione to Fullback, Gidley to Halfback and Roberts either going to the bench or NSWCup

Going off form in NSW Cup, it would be hard to go past Feeney. He's not much of an organier but he's a dangerous ball-runner with his size and his kicking game can be pretty good. I think he should be thereabouts to keep Roberts honest.

I wouldn't mind seeing Brock Lamb get a few FG games at the end of the year as well in preparation for next year.

Plays angry too. I like Feeney for that alone. Sick of our team being 15 nice guys, Beau Scott and Jeremy Smith. I want 17 arseholes playing for us.

Daily telegraph reporting that gidley is being moved to the halves...... Sione to fullback and Roberts is being dropped

Gids will try more stuff at half than roberts, but with that comes more errors and brain snaps.

hopefully the good outweighs the bad

Gids at halfback means we at least get someone who will demand the ball. He provide some strong running and maybe a decent repeat set or two. Tyrone only has himself to blame. Instead of pretending he is a playmaker Gids should keep it simple and just play like he does at fullback but in the line more. Run it son. Run it hard. We all know he tries his heart out but he needs to temper that with not forcing the pass or kick.

It worked well last year. Beat Cowboys, Sharks, Parra and Melbourne with him in the halves. As long as he remains level headed and doesn't try to take too much control away from Mullen it should all be good. I'm not the biggest fan of Sione at fullback atm but the more time he does spend there, chances are he'll improve.

Can't complain really. We don't have a whole lot of options really.

Where has it been mentioned that Sims is getting dropped? I think a few people have misunderstand Joker's post.

Gidley to halves will mean Mullen will touch the ball more and kick more, which means he may get into a rhythm.
