Trials are done and dusted, and we have been hammered back down to earth last night.
My side based on the 2 trials I got to see would be as follows:

1. B Morris - needs to work on getting under the high ball, but kick returns are ok and defensively he is safe.
2. Nightingale
3. Boyd
4. Cooper
5. Sailor
6. Soward
7. Hornby

8. Poore
9. Young
10. Weyman / Hunt
11. Smith
12. Creagh
13. Scott

14. Prior
15. Weyman / Hunt
16. Priddis
17. Thorby

Costigan's hands are not good enough to be in 1st grade...he keeps trying to offload at the wrong times also.
Stanley had little involvement last night.

I feel sorry for Lett, I wouldn't mind him being on the wing with Nightingale at fullback.
Saffy wont be in the side, although I do think he tried hard last night.

10. Weyman (Best for us last night)
11. Scott
12. Creagh
13. Smith

14. Poore (will never happen. looked like he was trying to twist onto his back last night? very slow play the balls, great in defence)

I'm pretty much with this team. (not the comments, I'm thinking D. Young is living on reputation at the moment and I really hope he lifts.)

It's pretty tight between B Morris and Sailor.

I'm not seeing what others are in Costigan right now.
He has the talent, but we don't need a bloke in the side who trys to force the pass when it is not needed.

WTF .. we were 12 points down with 10-15 to go in a trial and you are crucifying him for forced pass ...

Why not abuse Prior for his offload ...

Costigan looked likely to break the line .. moreso than most of our other forwards ..

Everyone thought we needed Ryles...

Costigan is an animal and needs to be in the 17

other than that i think Macarthur Saints has the best lookin team

Pretty obvious that Hornby has to be brought in at halfback, and judging by some of Bennett's comments earlier last week I think he will.

Morris just isn't a fullback. The safest hands in the bak line belong to Nightingale. Sailor really doesn't offer a huge amount. I always thought he should in the side, but being fair dinkum he doesn't have the pace. Morris and Boyd are genuine wingers/try scorers.

1. Nightingale
2. Morris
3. Stanley
4. Cooper
5. Boyd
6. Soward
7. Hornby

8. Poore
9. Young
10. Weyman
11. Smith
12. Creagh

Bench: Costigan, Prior, Sailor, Priddis.

If Morris isn't safe enough to be a fullback why is he safe enough to be wing?
