ps. Haurie is a champion though, future 300 wicket test bowler IMO!
lockyno1 said:I disagree there. Haurie is a superstar and is adored by many on these forums!

Difference is that Watson was playing on the WACA, which was surprisingly pretty difficult to bat on for the most part. Plus he got a dam good ball. A wrongun 2nd ball right on the money. Nothing you can do about that.
Not really. I think you'll find quite a few guys getting out early in that tournament. It was the pitches half the time. The balls he tried to pull on every single other wicket they were pull balls!
We'll see tommorrow guys! A bolter for the no6 could be Cameron White
1st Test at Fatullah: 19, 9
2nd Test at Chittagong: 23*
As a comparison, here are Damien Martyns scores in Bangladesh...
1st Test at Fatullah: 4, 7
2nd Test at Chittagong: DNP
Martyn only played one match, so Clarke had the advantage of playing the extra match
That is a massive difference. Clarke's average is pathetic considering he has had 20 odd tests, to Watson's 3. Clarke still only averages 35 for crying out loud. To me that is not taking the most out of your opportunities. Bracken is a poor performer at test level even though he has played at the GABBA a few times if I am not wrong. His record of 43 is rubbish to be honest! Watson adds the bowling option, thats why I want him in the side!
lockyno1 said:Same with Clarke!
lockyno1 said:But he doesn't bowl quicker than McGrath! Mcgrath is high 130's!
