While i wouldn't call it a great movie and it got panned by critics everywhere but i actually got some genuine belly laughs from The Very Excellent Mr Dundee.

Some really great films mentioned already but I'm amazed no-one has nominated Midnite Spares (1983). If you grew up around Parramatta/Granville you would recognize some of the filming locations. Plus it's got the awesome Paul Kelly song Love Is The Law over he closing credits. It's a different version to the one that was released and I think it's the better version.

Another great one is Greenkeeping (1992). It's a little harder to find but well worth tracking down.
