Holmes may well turn into a good fullback, who knows, he is average now.
Ponga is way ahead of him as a modern day fullback and he's what, 19?
Newy have got a bargain for a few years with that kid.

Dufty is way ahead of Holmes,
Mbye looks better then Holmes at fullback

And all of these guys have not played SOO, but have made more progress then Holmes

I seen Cotric have 1 game at fullback for Raiders and seems to have more potential then Holmes in that spot

TROUBLE AT HENSON PARK
NOBODY doubts the future of Cronulla youngster Kyle Flanagan but his father, Sharks NRL coach Shane, seems to be taking no chances.

Kyle Flanagan has been playing for Newtown, the Sharks reserve grade team, in the Intrust Super Premiership and father Shane is a constant presence at games. Understandably, given his dual role as father and coach keeping an eye on all his talent.

But Flanagan’s presence in the dressing room, instructing his son, is causing concern at the Jets.

Not even surprised. May as well invite Townsend along for the ride.

So
A bloke is telling his son how to play footy?
A bloke who just so happens to be the head coach and most successful coach in the history of the club.

...and he does it on game day
In the change room.

Get f**ked
How dare he teach his son how to play footy.
What an outrage!!

Does anybody think Flanos job is safer than it should be because of his son coming through?

Going by what I have read and heard, the kid has all the ability to make it in the NRL. If the sharks know that than I doubt they would want to upset the father / coach.
