Still can't get over the NRL not scheduling a game for Melbourne this weekend, would have had Friday to themselves, much more attractive fixture than games at gosford and newcastle at the same time.

this is the last year it will be an open date.

next year the AFL are playing on good friday. supposedly it's a knife fight to see which teams get the game because they expect a big crowd to turn up.

There's a chance that the Doggies and Souffs who are both playing at home will get outdrawn by the wooden spooners and Tigers of which both are playing away from home, gee that would so glorious if it happened, would give me at least 5 years of trolling ammunition such as the following

Wooden spooners + Tigers without there best players away from home > Souffs + Doggies at home

You have a very stupid definition of home and away. The Dogs will be away and the Eels will be home.

Parra's home ground is Pirtek Stadium, they are playing away from home at ANZ on Monday.(ANZ is not the Tigers or Eels home ground)

Souths and Doggies play there home games at ANZ,its a home game for both those teams on Friday despite Souths officially getting the home tag

You're dumb

As if the mods/admins need any more proof that this guy is a troll.

No one could be as stupid to actually believe the above.

Doesn't include members. Funny enough, Bunniesman made a good point earlier.

In response to this;

Bunniesman stated;

So take out Souths and the Dogs ticketed members which is about 27k between the 2 of them

Now add the 13k pax = about 40k

Now the Eels vs Tigers 30k pax.

Add Eels Ticket member's of about 13k and we have 43k

The Eels tigers game still has 5 full days to shift tickets, Souths Dogs play tomorrow night.

I am confident the Eels tigers game will out draw Souths Dogs....:)

Given WT and Parra drew 22k between them at their respective home games last weekend, I think you are on the money :sarcasm:

Hopefully it does... Hopefully 50K turn out to the Dogs V South game and the Monday game beats it!! I don't understand why anyone would care which game draws a better crowd! I wish the South Sydney Rabbitohs did the 6 ticket promotion for $30, well done Parra.

That's the point... Wooden spooners are having a crack this year and there fans are getting excited! = More people going to games!! Same as Wests (Who many predicted to come last)... South Sydney V Doggies will get a big crowd, if the other games gets a bigger crowd, that?s awesome!
FYI Parramatta is closer to Homebush then Belmore... Tigers territory isn't to far away either AND both use it as there home ground (Whether it's one game or 12).

Say they get a turn out of 55,000 & beat all the other 3 big matches. What does that then tell you about suburban grounds going into the future?

Parramatta might very well be calling ANZ home within the next 3-5 years in that happens. They are after all the closest to the ground out of the Rabbitohs, Bulldogs & Tigers.

I don't know why we're all arguing about this, I hope the Monday game beats all the other 3 games. 2 bottom teams fighting it out in front of 55,000, would be great for the game.

There is no way Souths v Dogs is anything but easily the most attended game of the round.

Come on people. Out of Souths, Dogs, Parra and the Tigers, the Souths-Dogs game has the 2 biggest teams involved. No way Parra-Tigers gets more.

I am just replying to Bunniesman who honestly thinks there is no way Eels West Tigers can outdraw Souths Dogs.....

Whats more funny is the comment about the Dogs and Souths being the larger clubs...............:crazy::crazy::lol:

There's a very clear heirarchy.

Although these are 4 of the big 5 Sydney clubs there are clear differences.

Souths are first, number 1 in crowds and number 1 in memberships.
Then the Dogs.
Then the Eels.
Then the Tigers.

Souths-Dogs will have a bigger crowd than Eels-Tigers unless our game rains.

P.S. I'm 200% right about this being an away game for the Dogs and a home game for the Eels.

And also Haynetrain, the Tigers have several home games at ANZ this year. It's one of their regular ground this year. Checkmate.

Look give the Eels the constant finals footy you and the dogs have had over the last 5 years and you will see who the champs are......;-);-)

But this week the wooden spooners are going to outdraw the Dogs and souths finals footy teams, that alone shows you the potential of the Eels and the tigers.

i dont think people realize how big a club parramatta really are

if brad arthur can build a good football side that regularly makes the semis they will average over 20k.

their big club games at ANZ can all be getting 40k thats how popular they are

Just like in your glory days of 1999-2002?

1999 - 23K+ (Which included 100K + to a double header).
2000 - 14,320
2001 - 16,671
2002 - 14,088

What about 2005 when you killed it (Only to choke again)??
16264

2009?
13127

Yes Yes Yes... Parramatta are massive:lol:
