On a serious note, if he gets off then the NRL are basically saying we don't care about lifting tackles.

This is almost a referendum on the dangerous lifting tackle. How serious do they take it? Because that's been a grade 1 all year.

Of course the NRL doesnt care about lifting tackles, if they did, why is a tackle that could do what happened to Alex McKinnon a 125 point charge?

If they were serious about getting rid of them, a grade 1 lifting tackle would start somewhere in the 300's for points

McInnes and Koro are both twice the footballer that Peats is. With none of the baggage that he carries.

He'll fight it and get off

Can't believe anyone thinks differently

No souths conspiracy here, it's just GF week. If it was a dogs player I'd be saying the exact same thing

Good News. Ennis has a couple of fractures in his ankle. So Luke probably has more chance of playing in the GF than Ennis. Suck it up Ennis, you reap what you sow.

I feel really bad for Issac, he is such a nice guy it really depresses me that he will miss the Grand Final. And to a lesser extent I feel really bad for Ennis as well, although he has been there before.

He should be suspended. Everybody on the Sunday Footy Show were saying that he should get off because he would be missing a grand final and because the tackle didn't cause any injury. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Saying that a dangerous tackler should only be charged if the tackle causes harm is like saying that a drunk driver should only be charged if he causes an accident.

I think he should get off because he only lifted one leg and didn't drive. Ben Teo over the top caused SBW to get pushed towards the game , and in any case he never landed in a dangerous position. SBW himself thinks that Luke should get off

They also asked where the consistency is with Jackson not getting charged last week....

They were right about that.

He should get off. Can't believe Jackson got off last week and then they charge Luke this week. Nice one Greenburg!

The judiciary's integrity on the line. Luke's hands clearly between the legs and SBW clearly in a dangerous position risking serious shoulder injury to avoid a serious neck injury.

Any "feed my children" nonsense from Luke, or "it was me bro" nonsense from SBW must be ignored.

SBW will speak for Luke, good chance he will get off. If that doesn't work, appeal, then appeal to the courts and get an injunction. Doesn't deserve to miss a GF.

That is like saying he was only 5km's over the speed limit,he don't deserve to lose his licence, but it might be the 5th or 6th time he has been caught doing this or something similar, the points add up.

How are his hands in between the legs?
