And if Penrith won last night, the Jackson comparison isn't relevant. Not the worst tackle, but he has a rep and the league can throw their hardline stance out the window. Its been only 6 months since the worst resulting incident the game has seen happened. Had to be charged. He may well beat it.

SBW will speak for Luke, good chance he will get off. If that doesn't work, appeal, then appeal to the courts and get an injunction. Doesn't deserve to miss a GF.

Apparently they can't do that anymore.

And with his record, he damn well deserves to miss it.

Clean record and grade 1, early guilty plea and he plays.

He should get off. Can't believe Jackson got off last week and then they charge Luke this week. Nice one Greenburg!

Completely different incident. Jackson did a chicken wing and not a particularly bad one. The difference in risk of serious injury is not in any way comparable. The McKinnon injury will ensure a suspension.

How is Sunny Bull going to argue it was his fault?
And how much is he being paid to do so?

He has a record, simple as that, if it was JWH or reynolds everybody would be saying lucky to get only a week

How are his hands in between the legs?

I am confused what are those five things on the inside of SBWs thigh then ?
I am 50/50 on whether he should miss the GF, probably should given his record.

But Squirrel Burgess is the one that should be out after the high shot on SBW

One hand is on the back of the leg, the other is on the hip. Hardly the equivelant of something like this:

While it really doesn't matter, the hand is on the inside of the thigh which means the hand are between the legs

I feel really bad for Issac, he is such a nice guy it really depresses me that he will miss the Grand Final. And to a lesser extent I feel really bad for Ennis as well, although he has been there before.

:sarcasm::sarcasm:

Yeh real nice guy. Tries to break his cousins leg in a footy game. Upstanding bloke.

He had a bad spot in 2011 but has hardly done anything bad before or after. And on-field behaviour rarely reflects the person off the field. One of the nicest players I've ever met, very humble person. Same goes for Mick Ennis

Agreed. Gained so much respect for luke when he was on the footy show but not good on field behaviour. JWH is another one whose a grub on field but a top bloke off it

If you had any idea or you actually heard the interviews after the event, he was ribbing his cuz on TV, but had no idea of the consequences. He is close family and he was never, ever TRYING to break his leg. It was a stupid statement and he regrets it and a lot of other things he says. He has a form of social anxiety, is working on it and is brilliantly talented. Not just in footy.

The tackle was made worse by the actions of SBW himself and Teo. Dollar Bill will testify for him and he'll most likely get off. Cuz.

What absolute crap, I agree it was not the worse, it was entirely down to the actions of Luke.
I will agree with you though that off the field he is a very decent guy and while these actions are far from appropriate he regrets them all.
Burgess on the other hand, rejoices in the fact he is able to do what ever he wants, filth of the highest order.
