^^I know the players all choose their own shoes - but would it be too much to ask that they have a pair that matches their club colours? This photos with them wearing maroon or white shoes would look so much better.

Most of the top players don't choose their own shoes - they wear what their boot manufacturers send them to wear

They all have deals with different boot manufacturers

Anthony Minichello was with Puma, Cameron Smith is with Nike etc
I don't believe it comes under the cap as its just free gear

I get that, but surely their boots come in a range of colours, and they could have something that better matches the club's colour. I suppose that is the point of the bright yellow shoes - to draw the viewers attention and give the manufacturer more exposure, but it ruins the overall effect for mine.

Well, the high-vis boots do match the garish sleeve sponsor in Manly's case

This was their chance to redeem themselves and come up with something really good and they stuffed it. Maroon and Yellow should never be seen without a little White in-between. Here are my changes

100 times better, the white collar/sleeves on the real one looks so out of place, but it fits perfectly and makes sense on your version.

Although I think if your version was the real one I'd be even more annoyed about the side panels....

The more I look at the broncos jersey the worse it gets. They really did f**k it up....
"The stripes are back!" Is the big slogan, but it's so bad...
Yeah it's an improvement but we did have the worse jersey in the comp so yeah...

annnnnd they have maroon shorts... Maroon overload

Excellent changes gzerounian. The extra white makes all the difference.

I was wondering - if you could find the time - could you modify the jersey so that the yellow and maroon are reversed, so that the yellow is on the top and maroon on the bottom - with the white stripes still. It would look more like their original jersey where the yellow was more dominant.

i think you might be able to save the new brisbane jersey if the bottom hem was white and you added a couple of the stripes to the shoulders, like last year's 9's jersey had. the balance does look off with white at the top and yellow at the bottom

makes you wonder who is paid to design the jerseys when fans can come up with better versions with just a few minutes effort!

Mate, Thank you, thank you, thank you. If I could, I'd slip you a carton of beer or a bottle of scotch for that. It looks bloody fantastic. Looks so much better with the yellow dominant on the jersey, particularly with maroon shorts. It also really makes their new jersey look like crap. They've put in no effort, no thought. Just make a half arsed copy of the 9's jersey and she'll be right.

That Broncos jersey is channelling a design maybe not seen since the 90s... the Balmain jersey circa 1997 comes to mind, as well as the Australian ODI shirt in 1995.
