Where has it been said that Watmough and Scott were dropped?
I'm taking my team I coach up to game one this year. Go the Blues
None of the leaked sheets feature either player.
It's actually been a source of great debate for most punters.
why are these guys so obsessed about picking guys on last year or the previous years form, current form seems to mean nothing to these guys
I've certainly not seen Watmough in any team, but I also haven't seen a team list without Beau Scott in it.
Yea the leaked sheet definitely had Scott.

Where do u coach bro??? And what age?????
I agree 100%.Incumbency is silly imo. Pick on form.
The problem is people see form differently than others.
One person could say that Pearce is the form halfback, while someone else could say Hodkinson (though you'd have to be an idiot to think that).
It is a good idea to pick players who have been there before and performed well in that arena. QLD has done it for years and it has worked for them.
NSW selectors have gotten it wrong time and time again - dropping Hindmarsh for no reason; not picking Hayne at fullback for years; not dropping Pearce when he showed he wasn't up to it; picking only one prop in the entire team; Merritt, D. Williams, Turner on the wing; allowing Gallen to do whatever the f**k he wants to on the field....the list goes on and on.
And do you know has been at the centre of ALL of those decisions? The current coach, Laurie Daley.
Hypothetical - if Hoppa gets picked and gets a serious, long-term injury (after we specifically voiced our concerns that he wasn't fit), can we take action against NSWRL?

Doubt it.
If Arthur really doesn't think Hoppa should be playing he could probably get the docs to rule him out.
In fact, that's exactly what he should do.
