I'm tipping us to win comfortably. Mary's taken them up early which shows some intent, just hope it's not for a holiday as Mary sounded very relaxed in the preview presser.

Also tipping Duges to have a strong game, he won't have to do as much positionally so expecting more with his involvement - can McCrone put up some kicks for Duges and MacDonald? They're both big enough to handle SKD. Can Lafai and Nighty contain Gagai?
Will Ross be able to score run away tries with Dufty chasing?

Hoping Dufty can at least stay as involved as he was on debut even if it's not as exciting as last week. Hoping the pack know he's following and waiting for the offload too.

The Knights will give us some grief at home with pure pride on the line so I hope we can put them to the sword and build some confidence and belief before Souffs next week at the SCG.

Dragons by 60.
Ok then, 30.
Alright, 16 then and I'm not going any lower than that.
Shhhhh ALSGI! Stop it!
Knights by 4

Mate tell you what The Eels were super impressive in the second half in particular......if they play like that in the finals they will be very hard to toss by any team...very strong showing
The Eels played with passion, Arthur looked pumped on sidelines and players were really hungry. Have you ever seen Mary this animated, never. Our defence and intensity needs to improve, we again conceded easy tries last week and Manly were shocking. If we were to play Parra, we would again get flogged. Can see us making any in roads if we play finals. Game plans is one thing, but heart is another.

Because the Morris brothers keep kissing their badge.

Couldnt help myself, had to bite...
Cant stand the Morris brothers and thier badge kissing escapades.
Makes me sick in the stomach.

But on a brighter note its good to know that they will be remembered as the twins that "went alright " rather than ledgends. Hope they enjoyed the money cause thats all they will get: no grand send off when thwy finally stumble into retirement.

Players come and go but the St George Illawarra Dragons will live on!

I'll be happy if Mary has Dufty at fullback when they run on today. I'm confident of a win however, we need to start climbing to reach the heights of the leading teams if we are to stand a chance of progressing in the finals. Say this I'm confident we have the squad but still unsure if Mary can have the players up for each game with the right game plans.

No team is undefeated so that means all teams beatable.

Arthur is an excellent coach that was instrumental in Manly's success before he got his own gig at Parramatta.
It's not about animation or passion when it comes to McGregor.
It's about aptitude and experience. We are behind the eight ball to start with.

I don't think it's a badge it's more likely they have sown an arsehole on the jersey and like all dogs they like to sniff, lick and kiss it.

We need to start well and keep the foot on the throat of this Knights side. They've shown they can keep up with most teams in the competition, so we need to put ourselves in the best possible position with about 20 minutes to go, which is when the Knights usually run out of gas. So long as we starve their speedy backs of early ball, our forwards should do the rest of the work.

Their whole year this year has been about fighting to stay in games, so if we can drain that energy out of them and stay on top for most of the game we shouldn't have too many issues getting the biscuit.

Interesting Illawarra side.
No Marketo!
Field at f/b
Youngsters Johns in the centre and U20's hooker Purcell named on the bench.

Mary pullled off a surprise last week by playing Dufty at 1 after they had prepared for Dugan and it paid dividends.

This week he should play Dugan at FB and move Marketo to centre to help defend against Gagai - something Dugan struggled with through origin.

Browny would never expect hat! Only problem is Dufty misses the game.**
