Pass mark.

If the Eels can get 41k against Cowboys and Souths v Easts R26 can get 59k then we need to get these all big Sydney club finals up to 60k.

Melbourne prelim will be interesting, they will get next to no coverage given the Collingwood v Richmond prelim on at the same time. Hopefully a fair few Sharks supporters will head down.

Don't show them on TV and you won't be able to find a ground big enough.

Of course the game will not be able to give the clubs grants and the clubs wopn't be able to play the players and the whole shebang will very quickly collapse, but hey you'll have the crowds you always dreamt of.

Tonight’s crowd should put an end to any of that “move the prelim so 60k+ can attend” garbage.

The only Sydney team capable of drawing big finals crowds consistently is parramatta. Second tier is dogs and tigers, the dragons, Souths, roosters, and sharks are about level. Penrith and manly will never draw a big finals crowd given how far their fan bases are from the stadiums they play out of.

eah i think you should always reserve some tickets for the 'away' side but if the home side can sell the rest of them in the week prior then good luck to them, that is what home advantage is about, especially in games involving 2 sydney teams.

Melbourne tickets went on sale a couple days ago for members before the opposition was confirmed, the green and cyan bays on the top right corner were reserved for away support though

It doesn't have to be an either or situation. The AFL smashed us in the ratings on Friday night and still managed to have 90K at the game.
