I disagree. We have some quality players in our team. Take Latrell out of the Rorters and swap him with Marsters and the game is a lot lot closer.

Brooks, Liddle and Mbye are key players in the spine that we can work with. Aloiai and Mikaele are both forwards that can dent the line. Matterson is quality. Thompson is really good.

Fonua isn't a star but the guy puts in.

Marsters is potentially good but geez he has to have a good long hard look at himself because we might be better off letting him go. Robbie and Benji should retire. We will better off without them.

No Marsters is garbage .. he has peaked and will get slower and slower. And he definitely doesnt have the heart and courage to move into the forwards so I have no idea where his future lies apart from 2nd grade.
Mbye ??? Maybe 6 if he is lucky because he isnt a fullback.

*Brooks: Im losing faith in him but he is definitely the best in a bad bunch.
*Liddle....the merkin is made out of glass.....he needs to co,e up trumps big this year.
*M'Bye: He was pretty decent last year. This year, he has been absolute crap. If he is playing injured, than he needs to rest. The guy is a virtual passenger at the moment.

Marsters may have to go to the forwards but he I can't see him defending there. He may be one of those guys that isn't up for a long term career in first grade.

I reckon Mbye is already one of our key players who we need to build around. He made some mistakes tonight but not through a lack of effort. He was gassed from trying so hard.

The much maligned Kev Naiqama is a superstar compared to Jennings.
Still need height in the wings and fullback.
Mybe to 6 or 7 because like last week, he looks better when he’s more involved.
Brooks, oh boy what do we say besides, his defence has improved.
In the forwards, well defensively they are ok, they scramble well, remember the rorters scored must of their points by spreading it. It’s as though they have no skills with ball in hand, too much 1 out hit ups.

Mbye is not a half. He was beyond bad in the halves for the Dogs. Left Centre is probably the best we could hope for. He is certainly not worth $700k. 3 more years of his contract after this

Agree totally re Liddle especially. The attack had some flow to it as soon as he came on. Farah's service is far too slow.

Farah and Marshall (outside of 05) form part of a losing culture. They might be tough competitive blokes but they don't inspire players around them often enough to win matches and play finals. Playing Gamble at 6 and Liddle at 9 is a no brainer. If these blokes don't get a run this year (because they are stuck behind veterans) and end up playing NRL elsewhere it will be a real shame

The younger Brailey is staying. We are looking at Apisa iKoroisau and Manase Fainu from Manly.

OMG McQueen is a bad signing. To think he is signed for another year after this too. How could any coach sign a player with a serious neck injury to a 3 year contract. Absolutely mind blowing.

Huge problem with Jennings is that he comes inside every time he gets the ball. A player with a right arm carry is always going to want to keep the defenders on his left so he can fend. Coming inside every breaks down the attack and is easily read by defences. He's not going to paly right centre unless Masters gets injured so put him on the right wing and play Fonua in reserves. He's too short, too slow and makes errors every game.

Aloiai is awesome. He was heavily concussed in the last 5 mins so he may not play next week which would be a huge loss.
Eisenhuth has never busted a defensive line with a strong run. Pretty ridiculous that he was in the squad over Packer last night. I'd say that Ratu and Faatui (starting props for the magpies this afternoon) offer more than Eiso

A big mobile forward,
must be able to bend and break the line,
ability to play wide and in the middle of the ruck,
have ball skills,
must have speed,
loves to tackle,
must have plenty of mongrel in him,
able to play for 65 minutes plus per game.

We need all of that and then more.

To me it's simple - what is the best option for the team. Liddle just gives us some punch up the middle. His service is better and he is more threatening. Farah isn't playing poorly but Liddle is better.
