Jennings and Ma'u are better that at least 12 players in that 17.
Yeah and I said to pick them if they were re-signed (and I think they will be).
I simply picked a 1-17 from our current 2020 contracted players and our 2019 Development squad.
(It sure as hell beats posting 15 cryptic and one-sides posts in a row) :)

Well if they don't re-sign at that stage what do we gain out of dropping players for clearly inferior players.

I reckon we (the team not the fans) are expecting too much from him. He doesn't have too many mates out there willing to run hard and straight that's for sure.

Brown should help.

I'd still say that there are other clubs getting a lot more value out of players in the same position for a lot less money.

Now Moses is signed I expect Jennings and Manu to get contracts delivered to their managers in the next few weeks. Of our off-contract 14 players, they would definitely be the priorities.

Not disputing either of those points. Someone like Napa who is probably equivalent to Paulo in both costs and importance isn't getting help at the Dogs from anyone else and look how they are going.

I'm sure he would go better with better players, but so does Kane Evans, as was clearly shown at the Roosters.

Moses has been on a hiding to nothing with a poor 6 there since Brown got injured. Moses has been an easy target but at least there was a slight chance the 6 would get the ball for a kick, tonight there was f**king no chance Gower was getting the ball so the Sharks know where to go and pressure him and he responded poorly, there is no doubt about that but to solely put the blame on him for a 42-22 loss is just plain f**king stupid!

I called it before the game, Moses scapegoat.

There was no intensity from us in this game apart from the 3 tries we scored at the end.

Moses kick on the 3rd when we had bo ball was on him
Moses not finding touch was in him
Both very critical parts of the game.
Add the 2 or 3 other nothing kicks on the last.
Your highest paid play take must take control of how a game flow is going and keep the team composed. I didn't see him once attempt to find touch and slow game down.

What I dont get, why the hell didnt we wait for June as per original agreement to see if we keep BA?

Scared of losing Gutho/Moses? Media pressure?

The board are as much to blame as anyone else

It is BAs team.He assembled it.
I have no faith in the guy. It's like we have one more or game plan. To many games this year we have been starved of possesion I'm the first 25mins and been unable to slow the game down enough to wrestle it back.

A small thing for mine was at end of first half when sharks where on sideline and 40mtrs out with 30 seconds to go. Smart teams hold the guy down. If a penalty is blown so be it. By time they take it they get one chance and your defense is set. Instead they get chance to take a bomb followed by another 3 chances at the line while we are gassed. These are fine and small details that must be drummed into the side.
Just like your Storms.

We may have 6 wins.
If Souths where not missing there origin players we don't win that and I stand by the fact if Norman and Frizzel do not go off injured we do not win that one.
We did beat the Sharks who where missing half their side also so fortune was with us.
We have beaten the Dogs,Panthers,Tigers (missing Benji and Farrah)

I am unsure where our season will go. I am confused how poor we are after a win or away from home.

Any doubt we are poorly coached only has to see that game.

Gutho goes off and there is no leadership or direction. Moses is on his own but isn't doing enough.

Will Smith is a disgrace but will get picked next week. We are playing with 12 players at the moment.

Bad calls going against us is something we should be used to by now

We might scrape past the Donkeys but DRW is an away game - so another loss, particularly when we can't beat Canberra anywhere.
