I don't think we did too badly.

* Lost fullback after 2 minutes;
* Thus forced to play stand-in fullback and third-string five-eighth;
* Horrible decision before halftime. Take that away and it's 38-22;
* Last Sharks try was due to our desperation leading to throwing the ball away.

Yes, we made poor 5th tackle options in the first half (especially). But even with that, if that first half ref blunder had not have occurred we would have been in with a shot while playing a back-up fullback and third string five-eighth.

It wasn't great but I don't think it's a wrist cutting exercise.

Our last 3 tries where due to them shutting off with a 38-6 lead mate.
Games and the tone are set in first 20. Too often this season we turn up and within 5mins you can predict we wont be winning. We haven't turned up.
Nice to look at the positives but we where blown apart by a side who where missing Johnson,Morris and Woods.
Tbh we had no Brown or Gutherson.

An ineffective kick is cause for wrist slitting around here. Calling for restraint after a loss is lunacy

Who is cutting wrists?
We did not get beat by being outplayed. We just did not turn up and play for each other. Any team who has 42 put on then has not turned up

We also would be 5 losses in a row if wasnt for Souths having half a side due to origin.

6 if Frizzel and Norman dont get injured mid game. Sugar coat all you like but this is reality of the current situation.

I just do not rate any of our wins so far this year. Tigers was a huge score but opening of new stadium and let's be honest. They rolled over like a ...... Well uno

We are officially the worst defensive team in the comp. The review worked wonders, we kept the same coach, attacking coach and defensive coach after a wooden spoon season.

Bravo all the decision makers at the club bravo:clap:

And yet we still have people who want to keep our fraud of a coach. I wonder how bad things have to get before people come to the realization that he needs to go.

Let's hope we turn it around. If not best we blood some juniors. Issue is Wenty is not performing so I question how well guys like Salomn,Parry,Kafusi,Stone,Stefano actualy are at this stage.

Very true.

But the Sharks still had:

Dugan
Moylan
Fifita
Gallen
Graham

Who are all rep-level players, and better than anyone we have, tbh?

I know they were under-strength, but they have a very good side.

Jennings is at least as good as Dugan and Brown is at least as good as Gallen (even coming back after 12 weeks off).

I'll give you that.

But Moylan, Fifita, Graham, and perhaps even Townsend (who people don't seem to rate for some reason) are a class above our guys, imo.

Even 18-year old Xerri could be placed in that class, imo, despite the fact he can't defend.

My point was that, even though they were under-strength, they still had a very, very good side on paper.
