I really just wanted to lighten his load in an attempt to tighten the middle. Also get Stone some time cause i think he is a guy along with NBrown that can add some energy, speed and enthusiasm to our pack.

But i understand what you're saying in term of his attack. Brad Drew in 2001 did a wonderful job of darting out of dummy half and engaging the markers. But i ask is this an issue with Reeds game or is it how BA wants to play? During BA's time here we have never attacked much off the dummy half or up the middle of the field with any sort of set plays. Lots of sweeping block plays, one dimensional shit really.
It’s SuperCoach, it’s only taken 20 games for Bea Arthur to coach the football out of him. 2 more years of this fraud.[/QUOTE]

On 20s this kid was known for running from dummy half.
Just as Tepai was a great offloaded.

When Mahoney first appeared in NRL we all applauded his running and passing game. It is only this season he has been turned into a tacking machine. He needs someone else to start the match and come on after 20 min.

I have lost faith in BA and his coaching staff. As many have said, how can we consistently be so poor away from home?

If O'Neil does not sack Kidwell and the other assistants he should go too. We need a top notch defensive and attack coach, as well as get Bumper O'Farrell back for wrestling. Until we improve our ruck control we will go nowhere.

In terms of recruitment for next season O'Neil needs to get the right players. We recruited well for this year but must build on that again. We cannot afford to resign Terepo, Moeroa, Taka, Alvaro etc. Even Mennings I would rather cut a year early than resign him for 2-3 years and be stuck with 2018 form. Don't think he isn't playing for a contract. Maybe give him another 1 year deal?

Jesus f**king christ you are a dark miserable merkin. We lose a game and your ears prick up, so you can unleash your relentless sarcasm on us for the next 7 days.

Look, I'm not saying we are great - we're a mid-table team.

Yes, we made nothing of the opportunities on their line just before half-time to take it to 14-12. But, as mentioned, we had a second-string fullback and a third-string five-eighth.

Yes, the Sharks locked off a little and we scored - but that ball from Moses to Ferguson for the Jennings try was a f**king blinder, and the tactic of having Jennings come to the other side of the field was great, so it wasn't all Sharks' laziness.

And there's plenty to scratch our heads over, too. Why the Hell hasn't Paulo been passing the ball before the line? He did it to start the year and it was great, and we had success, but he hasn't bloody done it for over a month. He does it on Saturday and we start getting some width and some metres out wide. Hello, BA???

We're a mid-table team, and with a second strong fullback and third string five-eighth we did ok.

For the record, I would have put Hoffman to the back and one of the second-rowers to centre. Would have given us a spine we could have bloody played some footy with.

Keep on Hugging.

Pazza is correct BA just wants a tackling machine to lead the line speed. Boo hoo if you don’t Agree put on ignore if it upsets you so much. Anyone gets attacked for being remotely negative around here. Have you watched this team play the last 5 weeks??? Absolute Dogshit.

Keep your unicorn delusions for Glass full of shit thread.

Peats said as much when he went to to the Titans “At least I’m allowed some footy now”. Or words that effect.

BA would of picked IDG till he was 50 if he could.

Can’t have a dummy half running game with the appalling play the ball speed we have. Doesn’t give the kid a chance and you can see he is clearly frustrated out there about it.

Spot on, Mahoney running from dummy half from a slow as f**k play the ball is just gonna get him tackled at marker now matter how good his running game is.

Same as being on the smaller side he's gonna get picked out in defence, none of this means he can't be effective playing eighty, what it means is the guy needs his mates to step the f**k up and give him some help out there.

Defenders only get isolated because the blokes around them allow it to happen.

More pics, it’s about all you have. Because when it’s time to discuss football you have NFI.

I’d rather be negative than absolutely delusional like yourself. The only time you were ever negative about this club was when your mate Fitzy got rissloled and Kearney was hired. Then it was fine to be as negative as you liked. Hypocrite.

My mate Fitzy ? I was NEVER pro Fitzy. In 2008 however I certainly called out Spags as a merkin. I was never in favour of his ticket from day one. Spinning around that to me being pro Fitzy is just being cheeky.

I supported Big Face until he was hanging by a fingernail. His mum gave up on him before I did.

I think it was Bilbo Baggins who once said “A man with no loyalty will leave you once the road darkens”.

Mate, we're all Parramatta fans. We're all armchair critics. We're all armchair selectors and coaches and players, too. It's what fans do, you silly boy. Loyalty has nothing to do with it. We're all loyal. We all still watch the games, go to the games, listen to the games, read about the games. When a fan of another club puts the Eels down, we come out fighting. When Paul Kent puts us down, we call him a c#nt. This is a footy forum, and a chance for us all to show off our footy knowledge. Us armchair selectors and coaches can sack players, sign new ones, put a rocket up others, choose a new coach, CEO, board, and even re-design the stadium if we want to. But it doesn't mean we aren't loyal. (And certainly doesn't mean we are death riders.)
As for Bilbo Baggins - that was another place and time.

I didn't get to watch the game live because I opted out of Foxtel and the likes quite some years ago, but I did watch the entire replay on the NRL's website this morning. Certainly some luck at times for the Sharks, but it was like watching Groundhog Day when it came to watching us get progressively overrun during the 80 minutes. Poor options in attack, mistakes at critical times, slow play the ball and line speed, inability to wrap up opposing players and no mongrel in them to get back into the game once their backs were against the wall. Our game plan unravels like the 6pm news. The headlines followed by local news then the weather. I was one of those who wanted to keep BA in the 'Do You Want to Keep BA as Coach' thread but mainly because I wanted to see us be capable of on not knifing a coach when the chips were down. It's quite inconceivable that we have only won one game away from home since the beginning of the 2018 season and are somewhat inconsistently better at home. The mental aspect is a major concern as well. There's also some good players there but they're getting drowned in the gene pool.

Obviously I don’t understand the love / hate relationship many of you have with the club. To me it’s a contradiction. When we are winning life is good, when we are losing many on here contort themselves into passive aggressive rage. This continues until we jag a win. After a win, the forum focuses on constructive team and game breakdowns. After a loss it’s all about personal attacks and sarcasm. Round and round we go.

You are all certainly loyal, otherwise you would not have supported the club for such a long time. We must just externalise it differently.

Id say 5th string 5/8
Brown,Smith,Salmon,Taka,Hoff would all get nod prior
