Not arguing with you here mate but I can’t help feeling we have major issues which are going to be our Achilles heel in 2020.

You’ve gone all in with the new regime so let’s hope you are proven right in the long run.

They will be most people Achilles heel though. No Latrell slows Roosters backline down.

It isn’t just them we have a great new bunch of juniors and cap space should we need to make a splash so are covered on both ends

I still think you try & give Burton some time at centre in NSW Cup, rather than playing him as the 14.

I think it might go that way. You’d think Kenny would be the 14. When May can play I think he plays 6 in NSW Cup and Burton gets a run in another position

May will be 13 in NSW cup, Burtons got the no.6, with Luai in 1st grade, they'll need more playmakers on field in the lower grade, May is perfect at Lock, if he does well in 6 -10 games,1st grade off the bench no.14 will be his

NSW Cup get told where to play guys. If Ivan wants to see how he goes at centre that is where he will get picked

Charlie Staines upgraded to a development contract per Panthers Twitter

Good decision. Was surprised that he wasn't signed as a development when the others were named earlier in the off season.

Glad that Laurie and Staines are both now eligible to play after June 30, puts even more pressure on Edwards to lift his game before then. Wonder which of them gets to start as fullback this season in Canterbury Cup?

Staines.
Lauire should be 5/8th with Burton half given who is unavailable

Yeah makes sense to fit both of them in the team, Burton has better ball playing skills and has already spent some time at 5/8.

Its going to be a log jam for CC play maker positions, once all of Burton, Blore, May, Laurie and Staines are available.

That is what NSW Cup is for. Ivan will say we want to see x player in another position and he moves to fit everyone in

Completely agree. Just thinking how much of an impact these genuine athletic guys have on the back of a reasonable forward pack, which I think we definitely have.

pack is awesome. Hooker is awesome. Players are fitter perfect chance to see what the backs have then can decide to keep or move on as contracts expire
