Well if you read the news he has already basically declared it a pandemic.
This is before any other countries.
Before the world health org.
No flights from China.
Australia apparently has vast supplies of medicine for such an outbreak.
Stockpiled around the country.
He has said they will use this if needed.

not a lot he can do .
He could test everyone coming into the country ... someone would whinge no doubt.
Invasion of privacy or some bullshit.

maybe close all ports
( he has already discussed how to handle it with border force)
Make everyone stay home.

I’m going over seas next week so Ive been keeping up to date.
I know 3 people that had cruise cancelled.
So far we are still ok to go.

They seem to be on the front foot. Probably got a scare from the fires.

Any restriction they place will slow the economy. It places the Liberals two biggest concerns at loggerheads. Borders vs business.

It'll be interesting to watch.

Ha
Mate that’s you and your mates blaming scomo for everything
You’ve gone from
Bushfires
Climate change
Sports
Spying
Coronavirus

Apart from a few dodgy sports grants that it’s all clutching at straws stuff.

im still waiting for the one team that deserved the grant over lilli pilli.

4 weeks
0 names.

I don't blame him for everything.

- Bushfires

Shite effort 2/10.

- Climate change.

He's made it clear that climate isn't a concern. He brought coal into parliament and made a show of how much he doesn't care. He wanted to own that position, he can have it. This issue has been ramping up for over a century. He can't take the blame for all of it, but he's made his position clear going forward. He chooses coal. That's ok, heaps of people are right behind him with that. It's a democracy and it's a winning position to take because people like it. I don't, but that's ok.

-Sports

Some dodgy claims.

-Spying

Complex issue. Not his fault entirely, it's a widespread trend. I pointed out it's more of a concern going forward. Seems to have been more of a pet project of Dutton, Brandis and others. It's just something to keep an eye on.

- Corona

I haven't been critical.

The Irony just when the whole sports grant scheme is getting interesting, with all those emails. He announces that Australia is treating the Corona virus as a pandemic Talk about a diversion..

Weren't the Sharks meant to be getting a Federal Government grant for the Centre of Excellence? Given to boost the State Government money.

Was that coming out of this?

I don't think it was ever announced but more hinted at

I thought they had committed to that long ago. Probably outside the grant thingy.

Ha, the irony is the carry on over his trip to Hawaii and climate change has made sure Scomo was all over the corona virus. That sharpened focus has made him do good stuff and look good right at the time there is the sports thing heat. Now that’s irony.

- Bushfires

Shite effort 2/10.
Nothing was stopping those fires.
Years and years of build up caused it.
f**king ridiculous to claim he
was going to stop it somehow.

- Climate change.
He didn’t cause it.
He has done nothing different to any other f**ker that came before him.
This info has been common knowledge
Why the didn’t labour say they were looking at zero emissions by 2050 when they were in power?
They suddenly do it now.
Very convenient?

Maybe
1 name of a club who missed out that should’ve got it over a club that did.

-Spying
Not even happening like you described.

- Corona
Plenty have.
People with an obvious agenda against the knob.

I haven't been critical.

He gets called a liar all day but the other side are just as bad.

I don’t know how people can not see this.

So that makes it ok? I'm happy to call out either side as well. But guess who is in government now?

Did you miss Abbott opposition/government completely tearing apart any carbon pricing mechanism?

They steered the boat in that direction. Maybe based on what the public wanted. But anyway, we're here and they led us here.

(PS- The greens f**ked up when they didn't accept the initial carbon pricing scheme. They screwed the political momentum of the time by asking for too much)

FREE ASSANGE - Bring him home!
I don't like Assange, infact he pisses me off. Has for a long time but if people can't see what is going on with the Yanks and this bullshit extradition case then pharkkk knows where we will all end up and under what rules and laws.

Our Government has introduced some very dodgey laws recently and they need to be exposed for what can and will happen when it suits their agendas.

When you have an important case where the accussed (Assange) can't even sit with his lawyers during the hearing then you know that there are problems with the system.

I fear the we are fast heading down that path.

Yeah Scummo, bring the dickhead home now. Fharkk the Yanks.

you know something
Plants absorb carbon
Australia has deforested 80% of VIC and NSW for agriculture.
Then farmers complain about drought.
Trees
Photosynthesis
Carbon dioxide
It’s all related.
Cut down all the trees what the f**k do they think will happen?
I’m sure coal mining is having an impact as well but let’s be serious here.
The country has been f**ked for decades .
Don’t use scomo holding up a piece of coal as an excuse for the current climate
( pun intended- thanks I’m here till Friday/ try the meat ..it’s not meat)

Assange knew what sort of shit he was getting himself into.

He would’ve been locked up for doing the same to other countries.

that’s regardless of him being in the right or wrong.

100% agree on the greens. Nice of their leader to resign during the height of the ‘climate crisis’ too.

There is no 'wrong' in exposing other countries war crimes! There was no "fake" news in what was published by Wikileaks!

It's the message he is sending. He said we are happy to continue down that path. If I'm worried about such things why wouldn't I be critical.

I'm not really sure that protection of trees is at the top of the Liberal/National party agenda either.

That's an odd take but hardly surprising.

He's not really directing anything, is he? He's not one of the people in charge of the response. But Scomo was.

The "climate crisis" (if you want to call it that) is ongoing. Is he meant to just keep going until he's 153? Everyone gets to a point where they feel they've made their contribution and it's time to move on. If he's lost his drive I'm glad he's letting someone else have a go. He's not just taking up a seat for the pay.
