I know nothing about that roller club. Maybe they didn’t meet the criteria. I don’t know.

But it seems there was some kind of criteria/guidelines/stated purpose for these grants that wasn’t followed.

If the soccer club met the criteria I don’t care that they got money.

The dispute is over what is meant by “regional”

Does regional in this context mean “regional” as in a regional city (like Newcastle or Wollongong), or does it mean the facility will service a whole region (like say the northern part of Sydney.)

I think the term “rural and regional” was used to insinuate the first definition. But if it means the second, then us big city people are more than happy to take the money.
