Did you Google your reply, now let’s look at some facts:
•Womens State of Origin 10,515 21/06/19.
•Shute Shield Grand Final: Sydney University v Warringah 15,550
01/09/18.
Just an FYI it's 2023.

And 10,515 isn't a bigger capacity then the Sharks home ground.

Looking at that Rugby game, you realise how piss poor NSO is as a venue. RL played on an Oval whilst standing on a hill. It's the worst of both worlds

“We want to see exactly who we are dealing with over there and don't want to give up the Newtown brand which is so iconic.

"A return via Perth - with a few games back at Henson - would be a great result for our many fans."

who were the experts on here who said the jets didn’t want their colours and logo and two games at Henson park @Perth Red ?

any ideas @Pippen94

Hardcore fan base & traditions keep u going through tough times. This is what Perth bid is missing

It's a great heritage setting..but fans think new plastic seats & flashing sideboards are better.

Well the Sharks played at home in round 18 against the Dragons in front of a seller out crowd of 10,267 for the local derby at one of the worst grounds in Sydney hahaha good one.

Shark’s capacity is 12k which is bad enough but at least it is supposed to increase again in coming years. We need less shitty small grounds not more, at least Leichardt, Brookvale, Kogarah, Belmore etc can get more than 15k+. People who enjoy the nostalgia of NSO can do so at a NSW Cup or Onion game.

Im not sure using Sharks current ground as a bar is particularly appropriate. In reality it isnt fit for NRl either. If you were admitting an NRL team now would you let them in if their home ground was going to be shark park? I suspect not.

Yeah it is supposed to increase when their never ending redevelopment finally gets completed probably around 2057 lol but atm they can’t even get over 11,000.

Hopefully Nine lose the rights in 2028 and what they think will be totally irrelevant anyway. They paid f**k all for Brisbane2, screw what they want.

Seven luv their ALF, and wont budge on them to put league front and centre on primetime, and 10 are probably on the way to being bankrupt soon

Or a 20k capacity stadium with very little corporate facilities, little cover and a standing room only area called 'the shed' in a non league city.

Tens financial predicament may see them going all out to snag the rights, probably only way back for them. Paramount is worth a sht load of money still (global revenue $30bill US) so depends on how much backing they want to give and how hard for the streaming market in Oz they want to go. They offered $600mill for AFL.

Ten can't even afford the rights to the Bass Hill over 90s mixed pairs bowls let alone the NRL rights. Paramount won't bust the budget on the rights. Only a delusional idiot would believe otherwise.
