Hey guys I'm back in Brizzy, it's a tad warmer than Hobart :eek:.
I finally found a joint that had awesome flame grilled steaks at the casino.
I won heaps at the tables so the $80 steak turned out free and paid for my airfares. Woohoo!!!
You guys have written some awesome stuff lately and I've enjoyed catching up on all the posts.
I must say that I felt the resentment towards the Storm and the opposition team's success from cheating or favouritism ala what Sheens is harping on about (well deserved I might add) does not soften the fact that we are the worst run football side since 05.
Every time I see a light at the end of the tunnel it seem like an neverending tunnel.
We may have a complete spine next year but that doesn't guarantee success as they will take time to bond and the whole team will need to respond to the new direction. I hope I'm wrong and they improve us straight away.
I think Api's signing is an indication that we have a bright future but we'll be stuck in the mud again when Stefano leaves or some other disaster happens.
I'm just glad we don't have white shorts because the shite would show up.

Well since you’ve been away @Nutz, we haven’t won anything, haven’t sign someone, the foxes are still in the chicken coup. There was a small article on page 33 of the Herald about the invasion of earth by giant galactic lizard creatures, but I smudged it cleaning the car windows.

Bud light went woke and is going broke. Basically disenfranchised 90% of their customers. Maybe Lee is on the board there as well.

1122pm here, by my reckoning it must only be 730pm in Queensland.

BUT we're still here, the butt of all RL jokes but one day, one day we'll come good. I just wish they would hurry up because god willing I figure I've got 10 more years left of being a "NUTZ"

Hopefully not Teddy as it looks like he is on the slippery slope to retirement, though TBF, I don’t watch him play, only going on journo stuff?

And we don’t need a fullback.

Hard to tell who you are talking about as all the journo's at the Telegraph are rubbish.

As for the player...by the start of next season we will be associated with every state of origin player and roughly fifty others,

I'd have ( if he wanted in) tedesco at FB with JB in the centres for 2 years if it was possible to have them both. oh...and more than happy to lose Nofo and Douehi to have it happen. A fresh challenge ( challenge is putting it mildly) may just do the trick for Teddy

The club will be leaking as many stories as it can to plant the seed of false hope in the members, fans and other stakeholders. Total fantasy.

The onslaught of spin and deception designed to take the focus off the fact we are on the life support.

We are not even sure who will coaching next year and I’m not sure Tim will be too keen to finish his coaching career in this way.

If he’s forced to step aside, which is on the cards, the excuses and spin about the justification will be the next level of rubbish like we’ve never heard before. No one will be truthful ie “ because Tim can’t coach”

Some physical, family reason or other nonsense to pacify the masses. Even if he heads to a gm desk.

Ive said it before, but anyone meaningfully connected with the failed Tim project should be hunted down and booted into the next world.

That includes Benji. If he wants to do his apprenticeship and learn how to coach, he should head off to a successful club and we can phone him in a couple of years.

Just how did he get the halves and backline to play worse at the end of the year than at the start?

That takes effort.

I’m not interested in being a Guinea pig for Benji Marshalls latest vanity project. Neither is Rowdy and quite a few others.

Getting rid of Brooks, 3 years too late, but a small mercy. That’s one year for every win this year. I’ll take that anyway because I have no choice.

Let’s not pretend we can be competitive at the moment and even if we recruit the talent, they have to contend with coaching idiocy who will be busy de-learning and molesting their game into the custard of this year.

Beware the marquee recruit carry on lads.
