there can be no bid until the NRl calls for one, merely interested bidders preparing for an opportunity to bid.
So just ppl talking about what they want to do?!

No bids until NRL decides where.
they arent NRL bids though are they. They are interested parties keen to bid if opportunity arises. Just like the WA businessmen. No, tigers exist. So too png hunters, orcas, bears..
Will need more than a business case. Need money..

haha do you understand what a business case is?
keep telling yourself that.A business case is a document which usually leads to nothing.
The unnamed businessmen aren't rich otherwise we'd know their names..
keep telling yourself that.
yeh, youre right lol sackson is a liar and cumins has given up after over a decade of campaigning for an opportunity..that there's no Perth group right now?! Every link u provide tells me that..

Brisbane Tigers launched their bid in 2023.there can be no bid until the NRl calls for one, merely interested bidders preparing for an opportunity to bid.
maybe, if the nrl has asked the prospective bidders to submit onePng has a bid
No they launched their intention to bid. You can’t bid on something that isnt available yet, sheesh this place never changes!Brisbane Tigers launched their bid in 2023.
Broncos coach Kevin Walters wasn't against it, either.
There's a PNG consortium bidding for an NRL licence.
The PNG bidding organisation has since said it would still be able to ahead even without financial promises made by the Anthony Albanese government.Lead consultant of the PNG bid, Andrew Hill, has told foxsports.com.au the likely time frame will be for the team to enter the NRL in 2027.“The bid itself is not being run an individual but by the government of PNG,” Hill said.“It could (go ahead without Albanese’s support) but there’s no doubt having both the Australian and the PNG government involved is a game changer.”Minister for International Development and the Pacific Pat Conroy in July announced the federal government has put a $5.5 million package together to boost the PNG development campaign.Albanese has reportedly indicated privately that his government is prepared to help underwrite a team with up to $25 million a year from the foreign aid budget.
which suggests a number of possibilitiesWe haven't heard much from Perth.
which suggests a number of possibilities
1. NRL has told them again to stop wasting their time and money as they have no intention of having a club here
or
2. The work continues behind the scenes, the WA govt continues its dialogue with NRL and the perth potential bid consortium and the business case is being built ready for bid opportunity
or
3. the NRL genuinely doesnt yet know what it is planning to do with expansion and has asked them to stay quiet until it figures out what it will do and when
or
4. the WA govt and Cumins is making sht up and has no interest in a perth nrl club
If I was a betting man Id say 2 or 3 are the most likely scenarios
You think the NRL isnt going to demand to see a business case from any new bid opportunity? Do you even know what a business case is?..everything rests on a business case..but business cases are most often ignored. Not good sign.
you dont know this to be true. Cumins has had a bid ready to go since 2012.Arguing about "intention to bid" and "having a bid" is a matter of semantics. The fact is the Brisbane Tigers and PNG have a consortium ready to go with a strong business case and can field a bid right now.
Perth is lightyears behind both parties and are still trying to figure out if a team is feasible.
