You think the NRL isnt going to demand to see a business case from any new bid opportunity? Do you even know what a business case is?
Yeah, I gave U examples. They all failed

you dont know this to be true. Cumins has had a bid ready to go since 2012.
Meet the man behind Western Australia's latest bid for its own NRL franchise.
Peter Cumins, one of the state's leading businessman, will head the newest consortium aiming for the establishment of a Perth-based team in the competition
The executive deputy chairman of Cash Converters, Cumins was part of the bid team which met with then-NRL chief executive David Gallop in the hope of securing a licence a decade ago.
But when Gallop left the NRL in 2012, the consortium was left all dressed up with nowhere to go. The extraordinary amount of money, time and effort put into the bid was for nothing.
"We never got to present that bid when [Gallop] moved on," Cumins told The Sydney Morning Herald in Perth.

Going by the press release it looks like they're struggling to find enough businessmen to put together a feasible bid.So pretty much same stories were issued about Perth in 2012 as last year & nothing came from it lol
you think NRL is giving out licenses without seeing a business case?Yeah, I gave U examples. They all failed
They clearly were doing due diligence and talked to a number of possibly interested parties last year. Where theyve landed hasnt been announced. Id be very very surprised if its not with the only WA led bid group. The McGowan Government has flagged its support for a potential Western Australian-based National Rugby League (NRL) franchise, with work underway to identify a third-party bid.A cross-agency Government working group chaired by the Hon. Looks like they're searching for a third party consortium to bid for a team.

but but but according to your alt there is no bid team. You need to get your arguments straight with yourself lolGoing by the press release it looks like they're struggling to find enough businessmen to put together a feasible bid.
Let's not forget that Cumins was a sponsor of the failed Western Reds. News Ltd had to bail them out in 1996.
One thing I can say to be 100% true is that 100% of the time a business case is needed to win a license. So wtf are you going on about? The WA bid has been workign on a business case, as its needed. Will they even get chance to present it? Who knows, they didnt last time.Where did I say that strawman?! I said business cases are most often ignored

Never said that. I said they are spending $1/2mill building a business case. What that shows is a commitment to bid. Now if theyll get chance or be succesful is a different matter.Yeah, just completing it will get Perth in like all those failed ones I posted!! Lol

sigh. You really really dont understand a business case do you? Good luck winning a license without a solid one.Business case for Perth will state why Perth should get in..but it's produced by Perth & is therefore meaningless. Nobody is persuaded by that shi..
