doing their due diligience on which bid option would be the strongest and best to go with i suppose. We know they talked to Bears, Jets and Cumins. Who knows who else they talked with. You know conusltancy firms, they love to justify their high fees.

We dont know where it has all landed, and I dont suppose we will unless NRL is seriously considering Perth in the near future. No ones publicly spruiking a Perth bid unless theres actually an opportunity to bid.

Awesome, English countryside is some of the best in the world and Perth is the most amazing city to live in.

Who has?! Sounds like Kafka

I can't keep track of all this secrecy, supposed behind the scenes activity & groups which may or may not exist. All of it feels make believe..
With your level of stupidity Im not surprised youre struggling lol.
in Oct 2022 WA govt engaged a well known consultancy firm to identify potential NRl perth club bidders/partners and then they will/have decided who they will back with the development of a business case and eventual bid if the opportunity arises. its not hard.

If the English countryside is so great then why have you spent the last 20 years in Perth?

Here you go, seeing as you are struggling lol

2010 Cumins backed WARL launch of WA Reds in SG Ball and Jim Beam Cup with the intention of them being building blocks to a NSW cup side then NRL club in 2015. Bid team is a mix of WARL and local businessmen led by Cumins

2012 Sage and Elias appear talking up a possible bid if NRL expands

2012 (largely in response imo) WA Reds bid changes brand to West Coast Pirates, owned by WARL and funded by Cumins. Told by NRL to concentrate on Jnrs so remains in Sg Ball and launched Pirates academy program across WA

2013 Grant announces at WA breakfast no intention to expand anytime soon and to concentrate on grassroots instead. Cumins continues funding for local RL and SG Ball

2013 WARL is told it has to hand over to the ARLC or lose its funding. WA loses independent ownership of game and becomes NRLWA

2019 Cumins publicly refuses to stop trying to get a perth nrl club and calls Vlandys out for his waste of money statement

2020 Cumins publicly states he is keen to put in a formal Perth club bid if opportunity arises

2022 Perth syndicate led by Cumins states they will talk to bears but keen to go it alone with a bid

2022 WA Premier announces that WA govt will support a Perth NRL bid, cross govt group formed and has set aside $1/2mill to find right bid partner and develop business case. appoints Freshwater Strategy consultancy firm to do the work

2023 New WA premier doubles down on Govt support for an NRL bid and rings Vlandys first week in office

2023 NRLWA GM John Sackson announces a perth consortium of successful local businessmen are developing a bid

2024 Abdo announces NRL will look to make expansion decisions end of 2024

and there you have a potted timeline of expansion stuff in WA for the last decade or so. Hope that helps your 'confusion'
