I don't think we'd pay him $1m a year....I suspect we won't even pay him what he's earning now, which is why it futile to even bother. No club is paying him that money sorry.
Wishful thinking![]()
He'll stay at Cowboys.

I think the Dragons will, and even more....but that is to play fullback.Cows said he could so they can gauge if he is still worth the coin .
Like I said no one is paying him 800k anymore at 30
I think Tuivati is very similar to a young Junior Paulo. These merkins are difference makers in attack, but become ineffective if they have to do too much work in defence. They need to be surrounded by the likes of Ofahengaue and Guymer.
We're paying Lomax $650k a year. There's no way Holmes is worth a cent more, and there's no way he'd come for that.No we wouldn’t we’d just have to give him 3 years
The cows deal has one year left
still I agree with an earlier comment I think he is past his best, lost a yard of pace and misses too many tackles. I’d prefer us to chase yhe best up and comers from other clubs without a pathway to first grade
It may be futile but I’m happy for Ryles to ask question. It remains immutably the best way to get answers.I don't think we'd pay him $1m a year....I suspect we won't even pay him what he's earning now, which is why it futile to even bother.

We should have taken a gamble on Skelton.
Tigers have a few winger options next season.
For sure. But why would they want Sivo?Swap with Sivo perhaps. No idea what Sivo is on but let's say its 550k would you give them that and pay 300k for Val?
The SG Ball finals last yearWhat's games have you seen him?
Just that origin game?
It's not about what other clubs want (or the players). It's about doing deals that only suit us, and forcing others to agree to our terms. Like how Talagi should've been tricked into signing a long term deal on f**k all.For sure. But why would they want Sivo?
So they may haveSkelton to the Tigers whilst we are re-signing a winger who has just don his ACL for another 3 years. FMD
So they may have
1 Bula
2 Turuva
3 Douehi
4 Toa/ Faataape/ Olam
5 Skelton
6 Galvin
7 Luai
Skelton may play centre as well...
Pretty handy backline.
Skelton is a great pickup.
We should chase Blake Wilson...very good player.
I don't think Staines would be a bad pickup either.
We need to have competition for spots.
Simonsson may take well into next yr to regain his speed which leaves us with Russell, Dunster, Martin, Tago, maybe Sivo...not really getting that excited.
I'm sure Lomax isn't coming to play wing.
If penisini is to stay right centre then only way see this happening is Lomax fullback and Guth left centre.
Let's hope there are a few pleasant surprises to come
The latest was it wasn’t a positional thing, he just really hates Flanagan.I'm sure Lomax isn't coming to play wing.
That's because Flanagan told him he isn't a good centre and makes for a better winger. I can tell you one of my clients who is also on the Dragons coaching staff told me point blank...happened in the off season last yr...The latest was it wasn’t a positional thing, he just really hates Flanagan.
Signing average first graders off ACL's are what the smart clubs do mate.Skelton to the Tigers whilst we are re-signing a winger who has just don his ACL for another 3 years. FMD
Skelton is 26 in 2025 and has so far played 6 NRL games and 34 reserve grade games over 22/23/24. Now he has signed with the Tigers.I have been talking about Skelton for ages. New Tigers management doing a great job. Meanwhile back at the ranch our dip shit management are talking to Superman. FMD.
