Apparently, he has been hampered with injury for a while?
Does anyone know anything about this bloke?
Interesting and showing the way for other clubs to do similar.
Yep. Those anti tampering laws are working a treat

Not only Galvin (hooper reckons give him $6m over 5 yrs) but also TDS needs to upgraded.
And of course noone table offers till the deadline. Everyone plays by the rules. Ha ha ha.This is ridiculous. It's basically better to let players go and hope they don't develop into the players they are being paid to be. The odds are in your side to let them go.

One thing that evens that up is (and I can't believe I'm saying this) is we have a giant corp in the HBG and a CEO just as shewd as Gould. Our CEO has been around along time and won't be pushed around. Now that Gould who is infatuated in Galvin & has conveniently reconciled with
Isaac Moses he will be offering him a truckload of cash to get Galvin to Belmore. The dogs have an unfair advantage in luring elite players & precocious kids as they have one of the most lucrative clubs in the country a billionaire benefactor & an unscrupulous & ruthless GM who doesn’t play by the rules.
Well, we either want them now or try and get them back later.$1.2 million for a young bloke who hasn't faced finals or origin and is still largely untested is crazy money. Could we even fit that in the cap? We have no rich benefactors with brown paper bags.....I mean complaetely legitimate TPAs.
I don't know what TDS is on but he hasn't shown he anything yet to suggest he should be much more than minimum wage.
The world has gone crazy.
I just think it's a no brainer, the kid is a generational talent, if we don't sign him, someone else will.I'm hearing that it's a 5 year extension for 6 million, but without upgrading his current contract. So it means we've got him for 6.6 million over 7 years, which while is still overs isn't the end of the world. He could easily be worth 1.2 million in 5 years time, and if he isn't then you know he will agitate for a release before then

I think he's already better than Brown. Is he ? I don't know. This is the issue. We are paying him to be Ponga or Turbo or Tedesco in his prime. We are talking about paying him the same amount as we are paying Luai.
I completely agree the goal of a club is to win. You don't win by overpaying players.
I reckon he could be a great player but I don't know if you play him in the halves or in the forwards. In the halves he lacks pace and zip and in the forwards he is too small right now.
I'd like to think we could come to a fair deal for both parties but I'm not sure if that is going to be possible.
