@Beav - thoughts on Turbo's move to centre?

Seems to have caught him by surprise given his recent comments, and journos are speculating he's unhappy and not onboard with the idea.

Hearing anything else through the grapevine?

Media mountain out of a molehill I think. I saw the way he answered the question which could be taken a certain way, but this has been talked about before this weeks team selection, and it actually happened last year for a game, then Koula got injured and he went back there. Club first guy that won’t create any dramas, he was trying to hand cash back to the club last year because he feels bad

Also a suggestion they are looking at doing it to have some strike on that edge now Haumole is out. Am guessing Saab will need to be punted and Garrick to wing

Yeah, Tom is as good as anyone has ever been at 1, but atm he’s not that guy, and is a great centre too, and that’s best for the team, there’s little question over that…. Legend, just a shame his body can’t cope

Sloan given permission to find another gig. Dude is a bit flakey but he’s quick and when he’s on he’s on.

I doubt he’d move this way, but if he could be convinced, is he worth a punt?

Nope! Crap defender and gets monstered on yardage runs.

If someone can work out Cobbo, he could be anything
Apparently the Cowboys and Dragons want him immediately, but Broncos saying no

was an interesting angle talked about yesterday, I don’t necessarily agree with it, but a few weeks back they made a big deal out of the black mental health jersey, and now holding a guy at the club who wants out because reportedly he is unhappy there

Saw on FB (Clarky’s RL column) that the Dogs are apparently shopping Zyon Mai’u around to other clubs already. Would move to know what that’s about it whether it gives any insight into who we let him go. Doubt we’ll be taking him back anyway tbh given our current forward stocks.

Interested where we stand with the disrupter rule now

There was the Warriors try, I’ve only seen it once so not sure how much scrutiny it copped, but he jumped early and knocked players into the catcher ? And the Newcastle winner, their guy jumped up and past the fullback with no effort to catch it. Hammers effort was awful and I don’t necessarily think it should be a penalty, but it seemed to be what they were pinging last year
The way I saw that one Penrith created the situation by putting blockers in front of the ball forcing Halasima to jump early. He also kept his eyes and hands towards the ball which helped his case. Essentially advantage Warriors for Penrith running blockers.
