Yass supporters group also have had Perth Bears tshirts printed.

I've resisted any Cave merch until I can talk to the club about what works for them from a supporters group point of view.

In the meantime The Cave has a 'genuine' merch comp about to launch!

I think you've nailed it already. That's all it needs to be if you can strike up a relationship where the club can allocate you some official gear for giveaways.

I know it'll rattle the NS cage but Id prefer we went for something new for Perth rather than a rehash of a NS jersey. We can save that for heritage or special additions. So in that lot this stands out most to me. (Though there are some nice NS designs I've seen that would still look good with some tweaking)

I actually think a new design is the best way forward, inspired by the past but not a complete rehash. Something like how they inverted the 80's style in 2021-

Big fan of that jersey. I’ve seen the cotton one floating around too.

Not bad, I probably like the alternate (original) better. The size and placement of the sponsor is weird . Why cover up the red lines?

Agree. The only cover up one line and could've nudged it down to underneath it.

I for one cannot wait for the Perth Bears merchandise, the Yass site are connected to the NSB and have their approval for any merchandise released.
I’ve decided not to buy anything (unless I really like it) until the official Perth Bears merchandise is released.

Did they? they got NS approval maybe when they started flogging the Perth Bears Tshirt (with a NS logo) but there was no Perth Bears staff in place so they couldn't have got approval from the club, was it NSB place to give approval for Perth Bears merch?? It's a bit rich seeing Yass members slagging off the Den for merch sales then doing same thing for the Perth Bears!

Should get our merch line released in time for Xmas hopefully. Still waiting to hear how we are getting the free pin we were promised when pre signing up for membership.

Yeah they do. Anthony and prior to that NRL gave their blessings via comms with NS chair Daniel. Marty directly asked Anthony 3 or so weeks ago when Anthony was at NSO. Further to this they are directly using the North Sydney logo.

For what it's worth, the Yass group don't do the same thing at all. They have a positive rapport with the club and don't manufacture retro jerseys without the club or the NRL's permission.

The Yass group operate through the NSB and don’t do any merchandise without the clubs approval.
At the time these shirts were released no Perth Bears board were selected, possibly only Perth Bears CEO Anthony De Ceglie.
All of the profits from those shirts bought from the Yass site go directly to the NSB.

They probably can't release any pins until they've decided upon and announced a logo. Unless they just go with the wordmark logo already released.
