Ricky has gone for the media tonight over their treatment of Flanagan, good on him. What an absolutely ridiculous take from the journo about when he was taking the kick

He's right, the sh*t that Flanagan cops is ridiculous. It's his Dad picking him.

In the top 10 of players a club let get away and will rue that decision until the day they retire...what is #2, and how close is it to Eli Katoa leaving the Warriors?

Seriously. The guy is Ali Lauitiiti, if Ali was consistent, caught bombs, defended a bit better, and so on.

But Eli was drifting with us. We knew he had tremendous potential, we saw how good he was for a while, then, form-wise, he went into no-man's land for a full year or so.

Cheers brother, I did miss that and it is bloody appreciated.

I drove past AAMI yesterday and was hoping to boo them, but then realized they'll be in NQ.

Can I dream of a 1v4 Warriors final week one there? I attended the last Warriors win in Melbourne, 2014 master class by SJ.

There might be others who live in Melbourne here but you can definitely also be our eyes and ears in the seething metropolis. We know you'll keep the Storm honest!

Lol, Cherry-Evans throws one of the worst passes of his career, straight over the touchline, but gets a penalty out of it!

Souths were inside the ten.

14-0, Manly. Halftime.

"A good first half by Matt Lodge, bringing the ball back from off the back fence..." What a sight. Poor Beave.

Yea he fell away alright. I don’t blame him for it though, or even the club for that matter.

His time with us started and ended during the COVID years…marooned from home and under 4 different coaches. Tough time for everyone.

Sweet. Great for rugby league, great for brave tippers and great for the Warriors, who won't face a desperate Tigers outfit due a win next week.

30-28, Tigers. A thriller.
Stoked for the Tigers. Fainu looking a better bet than Galvin at the moment too.

Gees how dangerous will Tonga be later this year with Fainu and Katoa in the halves.

Surprised no mention in here of Drinkwater's final minute play in the Storm loss, that was the funniest shit I've ever seen. He put an attacking kick literally into row one of the stands and it's really not that close to the playing field

Manly with their first back-to-back wins since round four. 30-12.

Souths still have two byes up their sleeve, so probably won't be spoon candidates.

"This is not good... Brandon Smith is down in a bit of pain - may have been a bit of a hip-drop from Matt Lodge." (League Unlimited). Smith went from the field. I hope he's OK.

"...Drinkwater kicks it dead. Muppet Show stuff. Game over." We did. It was too good to miss. Payten was in shock. All that training during the week, the drills, the pep-talks, the whiteboards, the videos, all for nothing at crunch time.

Coaching, eh?

Hopefully Lodge gets charged and wiped out for that, even though it wasn’t a textbook drop. Nice to take that win, was tipping a loss, won’t be winning another one for a month though

Gee Souths have had a horror year, look at this table of games missed IMG_9445.jpeg

I wonder whether he has the mental strength for all these stints on the sideline?
Interesting comment, because I was thinking the other day how Tom T mentally must be one of the toughest of all time now after his last 4-5 years

Always held the same thoughts about Benji, 300+ games after doing his shoulder 5 times early in his career was phenomenal

Nothing gets past Blair. It was a blind panic, he can be forgiven but man it was funny.

The kid Purdue is one of my new favourites, he is an out and out gun. Like a young Gasnier, without the spurting sausage phone calls (we hope)

Wow, hard road explaining to a Warriors fan that our injury toll is actually the best in the NRL. That number would be more relevant if it was games missed added to the experience of the player (ie Barnett's few games would be much more impactful than a whole season of losing a rookie)
