I think the effort was there last week, but when Canberra lifted a few gears, we just couldn't contain them.

I think the biggest influence was Mitchell Moses' return - he has such an influence on this team.

I think Canberra reacted better to us. They stayed in our faces, whilst the Broncos fell on their heels.

A lot of that has to do with Moses’s kicking game and our chase.

His kicking game is a factor, plus his leadership means we get to our kick more often when he's on the field. But a big difference between Canberra and Brisbane is that the Raiders have a lot of toilers in their pack, while the Broncos pack is built more for power. They don't sustain their line speed. We saw this a couple of times in the second half when they muscled up for a couple of tackles before clocking off and getting stripped on their right edge.
