Can not expand the image to see where it says that, will have to crack out the magnifying glass lol
Yeah it’s only the last 20 years for some reason. You would think they may as well do the whole NRL era from ‘98. Might make our number look a bit better too.

The last time the Panthers lost a finals game was back when the old man was playing left centre.
A little food for thought for Hales should they come up against the Panthers in the finals ha
The Broncos should get it done this weekend though.
The Panthers are vulnerable on both edges Clearly/Tago and Talagi/McLean.
Reynolds needs to let Walsh cook

I can't believe I'm going for Penrith this weekend. And maybe even the following weekend if/when Melbourne beats Cronulla.

Anyone not wishing for a Broncs v Sharks GF is nuts.

It's also weird the level of hate the Broncs get for a club that hasn't won the comp in 20 years.

Still hate sharks because of Gallen. Brisbane are… well, Brisbane.

I can respect what Penrith and Storm have built, and the fact that even with all of their player losses, they’re still so strong and keep pumping out replacements.

I’m all about this Sharks team, they’re great to watch and they’re more “built the right way” than most sides in the comp. I think Nicho and Addin are their only marquee recruits, everyone else was developed there, either through the pathways for years or as another club’s reject. I feel like they don’t get the flowers other clubs do for it but they are one of the most well-run & smartest clubs in that capacity.

Brisbane should honestly be ahead of the Roosters success-wise and in terms of being the rich club that can just sign whoever they want and have them “take unders”. The only thing which has held them back is that they may honestly be even more incompetently run than the Tigers. They just benefit from massive levels of “born on third base” shit like Reece Walsh begging to come back on a $450K per season deal (initially). Watch them sign Jonah Pezet once the door closes at Melbourne for a similar amount.

OTOH I can concede that Reece and Ezra are f**king box office hahaha.

It’s the fans. Given their lack of success they really should have a Knights/Tigers fans level of self-perception of the club, but instead their fans think they’re Penrith or Melbourne.

Yeah I really don’t like the Broncos fans for the most part. But I get so frustrated with the idea that they’re god’s gift to Australian sport and the way the media likes to portray them. At the end of the day they haven’t won a comp in 20 years. That’s a fact. There are clubs with far less resources that have done more in that time frame.

Honestly at this point I’d be happy for the Sharks to win because it would be a surprise. But outside of that happening I’m on board with the Penrith 5-peat which is just an insane achievement especially considering how things were going for them earlier this year. Penrith are arrogant but they’ve earned the right to be at this point, and it’s on the other teams in the comp to raise their level to beat them.

Storm winning it would be boring imo. Because they were favourites from the get-go. Broncos… just no, dear god no.

Had a lot of friends who were Broncos fans growing up in the 90s and early 2000s. Love to see them suffer so want to see them lose another grand final lol.

Storm are machines. They deserve it if they do win. Penrith are incredible. Really hope we can become as successful as they have become.

I have always hated the Sharks. Don't know why. Was sort of hoping the Raiders won it but Meh...

I'd rather Broncos win several in a row than Panthers win another. Their fans are insufferable. I guess any winning team is going to have insufferable fans though.

I'd prefer Sharks and Storm but I'll take Broncos if it means not Penrith.

Feel like I might be out of luck though..

I think we can all agree the only non-insufferable fans are Knights fans when the team is going good.

Actually by and large I've generally had good experiences with Bunnies fans but yeah I'm sure others will have run into dickheads.

I’ll take Panthers to win against Broncs, then whoever wins the other game (don’t care) to win the GF.
Was hoping for Raiders to win it but they shat the bed.
Should go for Broncs as the missus is a fan, but why should she be happy.

I know I'm over this whole 'Penrith winning another premiership' thing as much as anyone else, but when the only other options remaining are Melbourne or Brisbane, then I'm going for Penrith to win their 5th in a row.

I think what makes them tolerable, in my eyes anyway, is that for the most part, they've developed their team. None of this Roosters / Canterbury type of team that buys a premiership.
