Wtf is this shit... Australia kick for touch and the Kiwi jumps from outside of play grabs the ball and lands in the field of play and it's play on 🤣

Its actually sickening how the AFL have thrown away the integrity of the comp to boost up the Northern states.

Sydney teams just haven't capitalised

I was with a fumbleball dribbler from Perth today he reckons the QLD teams will dominate the AFL premierships for the next decade.

But I told him Queenslanders only care about 1 thing State of Origin.

If the Maroons win thats all they care about.

Piss all the money away they want.

If they can get handed every AFL premiership in the world it wont make difference.

Its why I actually hope the Perth Bears make an instant impact and be successful it will shit the AFL off deluxe the NRL are making inroads in Perth.

The fact they got a 1.2mill sleeve sponsor during the week shows they will be a financial powerhouse.

@Poupou Escobar Perth have been begging for a NRL team for yonks and they deserve one.

If they get football operations right and build the playing roster right they can be very strong after the initial stages.

As much as its fun to laugh at the Sharks we've made 1 preliminary in 16yrs. I think they actualy did very well this season with he squad they have. 2 upset wins in finals was a good effort. Not many expected them to beat the Chooks.
The Chooks were atrocious in that game, completing 68%. Good on the Sharks for capitalising but whether or not your opponent turns up is out of your hands.

The Chooks were worse when we beat them ( completions 57% ). They just have those games in them if the defensive pressure is there to unlock it, and take advantage of it.

It's not just that they failed to show up, though for sure that's a thing, but I don't reckon you can remove the performance of the opposition from that, some of it is that they weren't allowed to.

For sure but you avoid defensive pressure by keeping composure and not forcing high risk passes. When the opposition defensive line fires up you don't give them what they want by turning over possession. You need to hold the ball, take the hits and wait for them to tire. It always happens when teams stay patient.

Anyway, it's easy to say while watching from the couch or the stands. Nobody thinks that clearly down on the field, especially young players. And they're the ones f**king up. They will learn from the experience. If you're getting belted in the ruck, put on your big boy pants and hold the ball.

much like the Melbourne Storm, its just Brisbane money, they have some locals whose parents are expat Vics but they mostly just buy their team from the Southern states

They also made the preliminary final last year. They were never winning the GF.. They need to rebuild or they will just be making up the numbers

At the moment it's Either the Riff or the Storm maybe the Broncos can step up as they should but no other team is good enough.
