Yeh, I get that there is always the first day fascination. The Metro openings have been the same.
However, once people realise how great this infrastructure is, the numbers will continue to rise. Already, the Sydney Metro is the 2nd busiest railway line in Sydney and will soon be the first when the Bankstown extension opens.
It's incredible that a previous govt realised that the existing Fish Markets were so sub-par and had so much more potential to become a massive tourism attraction for this city. Well, they delivered.
It's a shame that nothing more is planned, and only the current projects by the previous govt will be completed.
That's State Labor and their infrastructure policies.
