Serious question as not familier with the tv landscape in the USA. Why such a big difference in viewers between FS1 and FS2?

He's just making up numbers to feel better about himself. What mattered was competition, and it had a massive NBA game on and all the war coverage.

I don't watch much AFL, but when i've flicked past it on foxtel they don't seem to play any ads after a goal??
Now that I watch all my League on Kayo (I used to put Nine on but the first peep from bonehead Andrew Johns and I was gone) but when I did watch it on fta occasionally I`d flick over to the fumbles to see if it was a) hopefully going badly or b) sometimes just a laugh (I`m deadly serious here) but watching on Kayo it`s way too much of a hassle to flick channels, is it easier to flick channels on Foxtel cf. Kayo.
Funny part is I never see it all these days, it`s almost like it doesn`t exist.

Knock me down with a feather... you do like Rugby League after all, now you`re actually defending it......wonders never cease.

Swans lions got 138k combined in nsw and qld

And people on here say afl expansion is working
They’re obviously not taking over but this doesn’t seem all that terrible. Not sure how it compares historically
I just don't subscribe to the "us v them" narrative peddled by V'Landys and followed by most on this forum. Both codes can be successful and it's not a crime for fans to enjoy more than one sport.
Who’s alt are you lol.

Forgive the cynicism, but the majority of your posts are referencing afl one way or another, why aren’t you here to discuss rugby league?

All the US ratings coverage comes from this

He does also write for @awfulannouncing which is a reputable twitter feed.

I didn't bring up the AFL ratings, I just corrected the misinformation posted by others. The RL games I watch generally involve the Storm; I wasn't aware there was a requirement to comment on every game?

Strange comment. Do the 38,128 people who turned up to the SCG last night not exist either?
There’s a certain sub-culture in Sydney that is passionate about afl but it’s hardly something that the vast majority of Sydney-siders think about it.

It’s a mix of:
- ex Victorians
- people that don’t really follow sport but chuck on a Swannie scarf and go to be seen
- woke brigade

See giants who don’t have that ‘go to be seen’ crowd and their low crowd figures, which are beefed up from visiting Victorians, and free ticket handouts via Auskick programs.
