You can buy hydralyte ice blocks and also a drinkable one thats a little thing that dissolves in water similar to borroca.

Also try activated charcoal. Throw in a magnesium tablet too. Swish that down with a dram of single malt and you are good to go.

I spend a small fortune on them each year for my guys in PNG. I get the powder sachets delivered from the states, I think they are rice based. I know a couple of American Special Forces Doctors, they put me onto them. I can’t remember the brand, but I don’t think you can buy them in Aus.

We got onto them with sick kids. Hospital basically said if they're throwing up a lot keep them hydrated with this amd don't stress eating too much.

They are very similar from what I’ve seen. His brother is a bit bigger, a bit stronger.

Zac is better on his feet and decent goal kicker.

There is no faster way to rehydrate than putting the fluid directly into the blood, also someone with severe dehydration isn’t likely to be keeping fluids they drink down. For serious dehydration a drip is the way, probably the only way.

If it’s just post sport hydration then an electrolyte drink is all you need.

That’s not correct. Drips provide immediate and 100% bioavailable fluids. Drinking takes time to absorb. For our guys up in Darwin - sure drink some Powerade.

For combat sports guys cutting 10+kg of water weight - or for someone who’s suffering from severe dehydration that isn’t self inflicted - IVs are recommended.
