Well in my opinion, Johns must have said something completely out of this world for Tahu to leave his mates in the lurch and take off.
Yes I dont know what was said but personally, i cant think of anything that would make me leave camp and take off.
A lot of us have played a fair degree of footy and been around footy players and officials most of their lives, I think Ive heard and been called everything that I know the meaning of and some things I dont know the meaning of but FMD is there ANYTHING that can be said to a professional footballer these days that would make him take his ball and go home ??
Really cant wait to hear what was so earth shattering....

I heard about this on MMM this morning, my first thought was - for him to pack up & leave, it would most likely be racial.

So did I.

And to add to the speculation and conjecture, Johns might have made a seemingly innocent comment and when Tahu mentioned that he found it offensive, other players may have supported Johns or tried to downplay the comments. That could've been what pissed Tahu off.

Like I said, it's only conjecture but I have seen this exact situation play out before. Where it's not the initial comment that hurts, but the lack of support when the complaint is made.

Well its all speculation but if it was a case of the boys not backing him up... well Tahu would need to harden the F*ck up big time.
Im still really trying to give him the benefit of the doubt but even if it was a racial slur and all the boys joined in and called T the same thing ... so what...
Personally Im sick of being called a slimey black little dicked ranga with a fat head but do you see me walking away ?????

reported on channel 9 news..

T walked because he heard Joey use the term black merkin when talking about Inglis, T indicated that he's heard Joey use it since he was 18 and he can no longer look him in the eye...

Was just announced on the news. Johns, speaking about inglis said we need to get that black c$&t. T said he had been putting up with that talk from him since he was 17 and he had enough.

I don't care what was said, all this incident has done is shown that Tahu doesn't have the heart to play for NSW, and its best its found out now.

lol @ you guys calling for Johns sacking because Tahu (who was lucky to have spot in the team) has a dummy spit.

Nah Im still going for the sharing a hot tub with the missus line... MUST be more than an off handed remark that Joey has used all his life around Tahu to make him suddenly walk out.....please tell me hes not that precious!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe Johns said to the boys, 'All Polynesian Australians are opportunistic, precious and unfaithful to their partners.' One or all of the above hit a raw nerve with TT.....

Look, we will never know, so speculation on this forum will be just that.
I hope that TT and Joey will repair their friendship. From an eels perspective, I hope TT's head is clear and focused on the football, rather than clouded by personal issues, if any.

Wow... I'm shocked. Cant believe Johns would say that. What a twat.
I don't know if thats enough to walk out on SOO though. But given that NSW has had so many Aboriginal players, not to mention Newcastle, thats just such a stupid thing for Johns to say.
