Freddy is fun to listen to, I'll take him every game of the week over just about anyone else. That schoolboy crack Johnsy laid on him last night cracked me up.

Freddy makes Joey sound entertaining. They obviously have a lot of history and can anticipate eqch other. Yet - both offer great insight - eg Joey's comment about Tim Smith's quick passing, Freddy talking about keeping their space.

And refreshing to hear someone with a club bias show it - and ALSO cheer the other side on when they had a dig.

After years of the painful Ikin and any other Queensland twat (of which Wally - as boring as he is - outshines the lot by a country mile) it is refreshing.

EA - I loved the school uniform comment too - but for the life of me I cannot remember what was said!

Did anyone stick it out right till the end when Voss asked him for his final thoughts and he just pulled some strange face without saying a word to end the coverage. I love his unprofessional approach and his passion for the game. Makes the 9.30 game worth staying up for. Very entertaining and much better then watching the likes of Warren and Gould boring squabbles.

Thats it. I don't think i have laughed out loud that much at a piece of commentary. or non commentary. the 930 game deserves a unprofessional approach and Fittler is brilliant.

I think the bloke is a sh*t commentator but he is at least funny / good value.
As opposed to Ben Ikin, hearing that jibbering f**kwit out of his depth against others was like having your ears raped, "fire up boys!" and "I think it will go the full 80 minutes" were his only f**king calls and he used them like a motherf**ker.

It was something along the lines of;

Freddy: I remember when I first saw Masoe (could have been someone else) at the Roosters, I walked into the office and he was wearing a school uniform, a school uniform!

Joey: The uniform did it for you mate?

Muffled laughter in the background.

Freddy copping it from the Sharks fans at the end of the game was funny too, he was telling them he was cheering for the Sharks.

Freddy and Joey can be entertaining and quite funny, the also have the odd moment of genius when breaking down a play. All the commentators have their moments of absolute BS though. CH9 need to seperate Gus and Rabs that $hit gets annoying. The only one that should be booted is Laurie Daley can't stand the captain obvious $hit he comes out with.
