Why would Luke Lewis go to Parramatta? Isn't he leaving Penrith because they suck/are a rabble? Parramatta is the only team worse than the Panthers.

He's leaving because the club apparently don't want him, they have f**ked him round big time this year

Ah I see. I guess the Eels are an option then, but I still see Lewis going to a contending team like Cronulla instead of the money. He seems like a guy who wants to win now.

How about this scenario.

If Lewis signs with the Sharks. JS just might get his wish and reduce his travelling by Sharks doing a favour to big brother and release JS to them.

There is aways negotiations and plans going on behind the scenes

The other scenario and more likely is that Gal moves to Prop, Rossy to the bench and Lewis straight in the pack. easy peasy and Bench has two props in Rossy and the crab plus Wade and who ever replaces Jmo next year.

If I was Lewis I know which pack I would rather play in

Definatley miller but all im saying is ya can't rule out Parra as an option. well really you can only really rule out Dogs, if they get him its gonna smell a bit off with their players they have got recently

"It's unfortunate but it's like a bad marriage - there's no point hanging on to someone when he doesn't want to be here," a Penrith official told thetelegraph.com.au.

The point has to be asked why doesn't he want to be there? And lets not stop at him, ask all the players who have left recently why they don't want to be there - would make for some damning truths that Gould and Feltis could not fathom.

That's really the question I want answered (if this turns out to be fire and not just smoke). The bloke has never had anything but glowing words for his local club, I find it hard to believe that things couldn't have been worked out here.

Seriously how in the blue hell could the Dogs afford Lewis?

thats rich coming from a roosters fan
canterbury have a lot of players off contract at the end of the year will they just dump them near the end of the season when all the other clubs have spent their cap for next year already and nobody can buy them?

Yeah, you realise those dozen minimum wage players need to be replaced right? Can't have a squad of 13 lmao

He's finishing up with Penrith at the end of the year and will play elsewhere next year.

If the Sharks do get him it will be close to the dream backrow you could possibly assemble - Gallen, Lewis and Jeremy Smith.

Chuck Bukuya, Wade Graham and Tupou in on the bench.

Surely not...

With Carney, Gordon, DeGois and a newly not garbage Robson in the spine that would be one of the best legal "on paper" teams in the comps history.

We've just offloaded Trevor Thurling and are in the process of doing the same to Bronson Harrison...

Nah, never happen. But the 0.2 seconds I spent thinking about it were the happiest I've been all season.
