how can this team of nuffies be worth more than the salary cap
It's scary to think how much alot of these nuffies are on.

The painful bit is that four of our most expensive players barely got on the field.
No, that's out of our control. The amount SK paid nuffys is however.

Just because it was out of our control doesnt make it any less painful.
How this squad is a million new the cap is beyond me.how can this team of nuffies be worth more than the salary cap
the knights are missing 3 of their best players right now, kidley snowden and mcmanus....and still the hottest team in the league right now.
we also went through fewer squad players than virtually all other sides.
it's not an excuse. the answer is squad depth, despite it looking a hell of a lot better next season, we still have alot of work to do in that dept.
Was thinking the same. But maybe the celery cap in '14 is more than in '13.
Getting rid of players now cannot fix any 2013 salary cap overrun though. Who knows what he's talking about. He may well have got the wrong end of two separate stories, and he's achieved his objective....he's got people reading his drivel.
The problem with the Knights is they lack genuine stars, although a couple of them are possibly on the verge of stardom.
Of course, it is this lack of stars that allows them to spend more outside their top 17. On top of this they have a strong 'academy' (like most clubs), which allows them to save money on young backups and fringe first graders.
Without an established 'academy' (ours is only three years old, for example) clubs are forced to spend more on depth, putting them at a disadvantage under the supposedly equalising salary cap.
rubbish, we'd kill for buderus (even at his age he is a top 3 hooker right now) mullen uate gagai boyd jeremy smith and even robbie rochow (massive potential this kid) to be in our side.
all hardly "fringe first graders" and "young backups"

You can throw in the No.7 too. He had a huge game on the weekend. Tough as nails. Good kicker and has plenty of try assists in his game.
