Just downloaded the update and the game froze.

Now every time I restart the game freezes on the regular loading screen. :?

K so far online is f**ked. Cant do anything coz it keeps freezing or logging out on me. Cant join activities or jobs. What's the point of making us wait for so long after release for it yo be buggy ss f**k any way?

Lol. People expect too much. I didn't even bother trying last night because there's no way their server infrastructure was going to handle millions of people all trying to login at once.

Any major launch of anything online would indicate that it will be a few weeks before it all runs smoothly.

I dont think its too mich to expext to at least be able to play. Thos has been in development for how many years? How much money have they made? Surely enough to at least allow access. Sure maybe races or death matches might not be set up or ranking might be a bit glitchy but to laumch and the server shits itself? Poor form

Bullshit. I try for Comic Con tickets under no illusions how tough it will be. It's a once a year event where anything up to half a million people jam into one server at one time. They sell out in less than half a minute. It sucks, but I expect it.

This game has been in development for five years, they have millions to put into development/ beta testing etc. What would the one thing they would try to handle be? Launching a product that people could play. Even with some of the bells and whistles not available at time of launch.

Surely they would account for its popularity? This was never going to be a dud game. By saying "oh well don't be surprised if you get trouble" seems a cover for "we are just hoping for the best".

I cant even save the character. Every time I try to re start the online I have to create it over again. Surely if they warned us to expect trouble they would implement a code to make sure once you were happy with your avatar it would save until they smoothed the pathways out?

If they're warning that it would happen, then they obviously were anticipating that they underspent on servers.

The delayed launch was obviously a cost saving exercise to gauge numbers and deploy the appropriate number of servers to handle the load. They obviously got that calculation very wrong.

They marketed a product that works for virtually no one on launch day, it isn't 'anticipated', it's poor planning.

Are you serious? If they anticipated this then it shouldn't have been released and they should have invested more in to their online capabilities.

It's like the excuse that this ifruit app doesn't work because too many people used it lol

I can't believe how much of a monumental fail this is and from the few who have actually been online they say it is nothing like the GTA 4 or Red Dead online which was awesome and working from day one (at least RDR was I can't remember GTA 4)

I honestly would have been more at ease if the online shit itself on day 1 release rather than 2 weeks later. Another game released before it was finished.
