    Neil Henry

The Raiders have made it known to the Broncos that Henry will not be leaving the ACT until his contract has expired. They are absolutely adamant on the issue. Unless there is a huge change of heart brewing somewhere Henry will NOT be the Bronco's coach. The Broncos are looking elsewhere...

    The forgotten team

In so far as it was poorly written, badly researched, only vaguely grammatical and painfully cliched, perhaps it well could have been. As for the thoughts in it....well, a bit of the same-old same-old, wasn`t it. I don't think there was anything particularly earth shattering here.

Sorry, was I raving? My bad.

If Henry goes, or fails to commit, make a play for Bennet. Top coach, has lived in Canberra before and will bring players with him. The Raiders need to take a recruitment risk or two, and a high profile coach would be a good start.

Mate, if the official language of Australia was Matt-ish, I`d be constantly pointing at menus.

I'm not even sure how to respond to this. I don't think I've ever understood a post from you, Matt.

Imagine a world where people asked THEMSELVES a few hard questions... Seriously, people in the club know much better than you or I what's going on - sometimes you just have to accept that you don't have enough facts to spout off like this.

    Thanks for the Orgasm

Nothing to do with the law anymore.

    Thanks for the Orgasm

I've been involved on the periphery of enough rape cases to know that: 1. Most rapists are not very bright, and; 2. The police are very bright indeed. Physical evidence can be used to trip people up in their statements as to what actually took place...you'd be surprised what people will...

    Stuart Flanagan

Well, if that's true, I would be deeply embarrased if I had gone on a rant about the retention policy without any real idea of what was going on behind the scenes.....

It's a big if - I would like to see confirmation, too. But these negotiations normally take months, and contracts are often signed a long time before an announcement is madein any public forum. It would seem to fit with Woolford being let go, anyway.

Hope this is true. Seems to make some more sense of the Woolford signing, too. I am sure Bay will apologise for his lack of faith in management if the signing comes off.

    Thanks for the Orgasm

Not necessarily in reference to this case, but I would be extremely surprised if the police would take this to court without at least: 1. Incriminating physical evidence of a forensic nature 2. Statements from someone else in the house 3. Physical evidence such as recordings or otherwise...

    Thanks for the Orgasm

I can`t remember reading any cases that dealt with this, but I would imagine it`s more to do with the ability to reason than the ability to function. Significant difference, when you think about it.

    Thanks for the Orgasm

If a woman is so drunk that she CANNOT give informed consent, then there is a real chance that a finding could be made against the man involved. I dont know the details of this case, but I would imagine that the police would have physcial evidence before seeking a prosecution. Not in any...

Interesting read in the Telecrap re:Carney

Sounds to me like he's had some media training. Anyway, if the Raiders offer him the most, he'll stay. If not, he'll leave.

Melbourne bound for one of our juniors

I have to say, Bay, for someone who claims to always debate the issues, you seem very unwilling to in this case. R69 has raised some very legitimate points.

Melbourne bound for one of our juniors

R69 raises some good points though, Bay. Don't you think some measure of praise is in order for the things he mentioned?

Melbourne bound for one of our juniors

WITHOUT IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM trying to make a point against Bay here, it was great to read the post above. I actually feel that far more than any time in the recent past, we are actually on track and building as a club. The Raiders have been in a hole since Stuart and Clyde went, but...
