backline nearly set - but pack looking a bit average...

Man, people round here change thier minds real fast. I can remeber when Lyon was comng back from the UK, almost everyone was like "sign him right now!"

    Another prop off the market

I'll second that BIHK. We would be paying Tolar more than that Yosh.

backline nearly set - but pack looking a bit average...

Too bad we didn't have those $$$ when Lyon and Rogers were up for grabs. We could have used one of them.

backline nearly set - but pack looking a bit average...

The backline looks just about right. With the Naiqama and Mad Pup signings along with the up and comers Uate and Vuna, we look strong. And how good has Mcmanus come along this season? I agree that an extra prop could come in handy but Snowy and Sargent should be able to handle the starting...

Knights to sign up a jailbird

I used his name to prove my point btw. He hasn't actually been linked driectly to the club. Wouldn't mind if we did throw him a contrat though. But we have just signed Walsh, so I doubt we will be looking for a half.

Warren Ryan - Telling it how it is

We couldn't have asked for a better coach for the post-Johns era. He has the ability to create a premiership team using our junior base and still have the ability to attract marquee players to the club.

    So we are at 5th

Has BIHK even posted since that fateful day?

    Where was Smith yesterday?

No I've changed my mind... he wasn't chasing Hindmarsh. He was chasing Hayne now that he sees the talent in him. Finally decided he was worth a run in FG after all.

    Where was Smith yesterday?

Probably trying to sign Hindmarsh for next season?

Knights to sign up a jailbird

Well we have already rescued Sargent, why not add Naiqama and Carney as well? Good signing though, Naiqama is dangerous. His goalkicking will come in handy as well, he has a very strong boot.

    Smith wrong fit for Knights

what the f**k? I have to agree on some aspects with the writer. Hope Smith knows what he is doing.

When will we see some changes

    Patience is a virtue.

    I'm confident in generation next

Perhaps that is why Smith has been playing Hinton on the wing in PL? To see that he can play that as a secondary position when Kidley is fit again?

    I'm confident in generation next

The 1,6,7, and 9 positions for the future look strong. There we have the future NZ hooker and the current NSW halfback. As for Hinton, he reminded me alot of Brian Carney with his hair and running style. Looks strong for a bloke of his size. And he is safe as houses under the high ball too...

    Is this a centres Gut?

Yeah, but Matt Cooper is a fitness freak. Probably the one of the fitest centres in the NRL, has one of those cut bods. probably the reason he is "sexiest man in NRL" every damn year.

    PL Team

So does that mean Terrence will be the fill-in starting hooker when Bedsy is out for Origin? Or will we be stuck with a combination of Brown and Young?
  19. CJKnight

    team v tigpies

Terrence doesn't play many minutes anyway, Young could be used as dummy-half in conjuction with Brown or Bailey for the rest of the game time.

    Mitchell Sargent is ready

His confidence will grow after he has a couple of games under his belt. He could be starting for us next season, particularly if we fail to sign a big-name prop. Definately holds the grunt we have been missing.
