    Who Supports Who?

I used to be a Baltimore Ravens fan due to dating a girl from Maryland, but I've since married into a third-generation Seattle family, so I've been indoctrinated into the Seahawks way of life now. Watching games with my father-in-law has been fun, even if he does scream at the TV like I do...

    World of Warcraft

BFA is coming to a close, but I can't say I'm super excited for Shadowlands. The one element I don't hate is the level crunch and revised way of leveling. The idea that I can do 10-50 in Mists of Pandaria or Wrath of the Lich King sounds so much better than having to bounce from zone to zone...

    Agree or Disagree Game

Disagree. Kurt Gidley should lace up the boots again in 2020.

    League Unlimited's Favourite Movie

I sometimes don't even watch a LOTR movie in a single sitting. I've been jumping in and out of Fellowship whenever I need a break from my computer and just want to veg out on the couch. Just got to Moria and I started two weeks ago haha

    League Unlimited's Favourite Movie

Am I alone in finding It's a Wonderful Life to be completely unremarkable?

    The Travel Thread

Just got back from a day-long wine tour in Georgia's most famous wine region. Holy hell, these people love a drink. Rather than the usual 2-3 glasses of wine at each cellar door, they were plying us with chacha, pouring us an extra 2-3 glasses at each tasting, and letting the wine flow freely...

    The Travel Thread

Love the tips! We're based here until May, but that coincides with low season in the safari business, so finances are frustratingly tight right up until we're due to fly back to the US for the first of three weddings. We're already talking about coming back to Tbilisi next January for a full...

    The Travel Thread

I've not made it to Azerbaijan yet (we only moved to Tbilisi three weeks ago), but it's also on the list. Armenia and Azerbaijan are kind of weird about you visiting one and then the other, so we'll see how much drama they give us at the border. Although we've only seen Tbilisi from an expat...

    League Unlimited's Favourite Movie

Do you mean O Brother Where Art Thou? I loved that movie!

Thinking of ducking across the border into Armenia later this month or early in March. I don't know a great deal about the place aside from Yerevan, but it would be a shame to be right next door and not at least duck over and check it out.

    What's good on Netflix?

Absolutely. My wife and I binged the first three episodes thinking it was all available, only to have the agonizing wait between episodes haha

What Movies Have You Seen III

That's a shame to hear, as the book is legitimately quite good.

What Movies Have You Seen III

Finally introducing my wife to Alien tonight. She's all on board with it as a feminist piece of film, but I'm just keen for her to experience its radness.

    The Cocktail (and Spirits) Thread

I tried chacha last night. That shit smells like paint-stripper and tastes only a little less brutal. They say it is made from grape skins, but it tastes no different than baijiu, soju, or SE Asian rice wine.

    XFL

Has anybody jumped on a particular team? As a Seahawks fan through marriage, I'm ostensibly a Dragons fan. Feels dirty saying that haha

    What Games Are You Playing?

I've tried to get into OSR a few times now, but I'm just too much of a graphics snob to handle it. Even for when it was made, it's rough. That makes sense, given it wasn't developed by a massive studio, but I just can't get past the graphics.
