    The Titans in Greek mythology were the generation of beings prior to the “Olympian Gods” that ruled the Cosmos. The Olympian Gods (Zeus, Poseidon, Hera etc) were literally the offspring of the Titans. So on this explanation of the Titans, I think it is logical to consider them “Gods”

    I’m pretty sure they also do direct trains from Petrie to Bowen Hills, which cuts considerable time . They do it on my train line to Beenleigh, you just have to make sure you get on the the train...

    Actually, all three overlap. All three have publicly stated that they will be a greater Brisbane team focussed on appealing to the wider area, not their traditional QRL areas. Locality/Suburban bids will get thrown out by the NRL and rightfully so- the Broncos have their support from all over...

    Why can’t the second and third points work? From an outsider to the region, they both seem logical, but we all know how illogical RL fans are. I’m not hanging any shit on this one as I honestly am not in the know and am interested into understanding the barriers to better supporting the area...

    Why would a Brisbane team that is linked through the Ipswich team need or want a feeder club in NSW? This idea is completely going against growing the game in Queensland. That’s a no try for me.

    It’s all done through TransLink, not the councils mate. Plus don’t forget the Busway is being extended through to Springwood first, then to the Hyperdome eventually. Also, Logan is well served by trains.

    A large proportion, if not a majority come from outer suburbs/Greater Brisbane. Just look at where the public transport goes and their volumes post game.

    I’m sure you’re right on this one, I’m just working off personal ideas and anecdotal evidence. You hear Sydneysiders talk of tribalism and how much the rest of us don’t understand, I just see it as a fallacy to think what happens there will/could here. Or maybe it will have a unique twist to it too.

    I honestly feel Brisbanites will get behind any of the three teams. It’s a different feel up here than Sydney- we tend to get behind each other with a primary team (think how Gordon Tallis is- it’s more common than you think). Easts or Redcliffe, I don’t think anyone will stress too hard that...
