    2020/21 Offseason - Knights

Isn't it a bit like strengthening one position only to weaken another? The kid is already one of the best FB's in the game and will only get better It'd worth considering IF we had the right halfback at the club and the right team with a system that's been in place for years. If he went to the...

    2020/21 Offseason - Knights

Agree on Crossland and Tex, the coach cant have too much faith in them. Pearce is on the books for 2021, the logical thing would be to partner him with our designated future half or 5/8 ( Lam ? ) , if we can find one for next year. 2022 Pearce is gonski and we recruit the other missing link...

Match Discussion: Finals Week 1 vs Rabbitohs @ ANZ Stadium

Indeed and that goes for the whole team - a huge lack of intent, motivation, passion, pride, aggression, across the board with a few rare exceptions ..... We did have large doses of looking bored, tired, flat and extremely mentally fragile.

Mitchell Pearce, what does he do well?

It shows how political the game actually is when has Pearce played 18 Origins? and Mullen played only 1 He gets dropped from Origin and bang we win a series.

he has seemed less aggressive this year. ....to not make the team ummm ok ....but to not make the squad ? WTF

Match Discussion: Finals Week 1 vs Rabbitohs @ ANZ Stadium

that's a big shock, he leads in mtrs gain and offloads with a great tackle % ....what a weird choice to leave Klemmer out......Newcastle's gain though he'll come back rested and fired up

Certainly Ponga and Brailey are contenders. They for the nucleus of our leadership group moving forward along with Klem, Barny and Frizell

Match Discussion: Finals Week 1 vs Rabbitohs @ ANZ Stadium

At this stage I'd give Crossland the number 7 and get Lam from the Roosters to partner him at 5/8 I'd throw Brailey the Captains cap Pearce is a cancer on the team I think. He has to go

Match Discussion: Finals Week 1 vs Rabbitohs @ ANZ Stadium

And that is a major issue right there. There are no genuine leaders in the squad, at least not apparent from a distant observation or with a history of strong leadership qualities. We have Pearce who I think it's almost universally agreed he isnt a Captain, then we have who? We have a very...

that's mental attitude, not much of from our losses have been downright poor talent or inability so much as a lousy f**king attitude

I've read an article about 2 days ago by Brent Reed - Pearce is about to put pen to paper on a 1 year extension* * It was on sporting news which for some bizarre reason we arent allowed o post their links on this forum

My thoughts exactly, Pearce is mentally fragile this is well known fact. A leader should never be a mental midget. They lead the way in every aspect of the culture and approach to the game ... they set the tone We expect too much from Pearce , more than what he is capable of

Match Discussion: Finals Week 1 vs Rabbitohs @ ANZ Stadium

We have a good roster, yes we're missing some crucial positions ( 5/8 being one ) Anytime you have 40 put on you the team simply isnt mentally strong. There's a weakness at a leadership level.

And that sums up Mitchell Pearce perfectly. Pressure and needed to step up, makes the mistake and the head drops and away goes the opposition to score.......... right there is the frailty in our leadership that sets the culture
