    Sorry Sharks fans. This Newcastle supporter was of course on the Knights. Bumped out week 1. Moved across to the Cowboys. Bumped week 2. Of the 4 remaining, Cronulla would be my preferred choice, rather begrudgingly, mind you. Expect a departure next weekend. Soz.

    I'm hearing mid-October is indeed the likely and expected date. Personally, I'd've thought PVL would do it on or about the aussie rules GF day to steal some of their limelight, but those closer to the action (very close, in fact) are expecting mid-October instead.

    That's 100% it. Everyone knows. From my Newcastle perspective, I don't give a toss who win any games for the rest of the season now. But it will be Melbourne vs Penrith GF. Just as enticing as last year when it was Brisbane vs Penrith.
