Memory a bit hazy, but I think Dragons gave Shaylee Bent their Player of the Year award before the GF in 2019. Might have been Rookie of the Year.

The comp had 4 teams. At that point, she'd only played 3 games.

RL is inordinately fond of awards and presentations. Gives Hollywood a run for their money.

Not impressed with the Roosters today, not a great game, several bits devoid of footy knowledge and blown chances. Hope its a one off for them.
