    Yep, the Downunder bar was the place to go. Great memories. It was a Chinese Restaurant to about 9pm, then they would clear the room of all the big round tables with the lazy Susan’s & the hoards of young desperates would head downstairs from the upstairs bars.

    A Agree with that too. But sadly, my timeframe is closer to 15 years. All initiative is still throttled by Craig Young & Doust. They need to go for any real change to be able to be achieved. If not, there will be no genuine change/improvement.

    Yep, that’s all fact. Plenty of money being spent bringing in external players. Willie Talau knows his stuff. While the current set-up is not perfect, name dropping former legends to parachute in as coaches is fantasy.

    That’s at Jersey Flegg age. Kids below that still play in the district. The District club funnels them mostly to Kingsgrove & Kogarah these days. All the current designated ‘Pathways’ players (15/16) are locals.

    McFlop didn’t have the team “he wanted” & had no idea what to do. The Board than had no idea what to do with McFlop. They sent him to the US with their fingers crossed & no other plan. Fast forward 5 years & still no plan.
